I’ve been doing some honest reflection lately…

Between the ages of 5 and 16, I was pretty much silent. I didn’t speak much at all. Maybe I was an introvert, maybe I lacked confidence probably both. But looking back, I know I wasn’t expressing who I really was.

Things started to change around 17. I stepped out of my shell, took on a Personal Training course, and by 19 I was in the gym consistently/ MMA gym . From there, life kept moving even taking me as far as Hong Kong. And somewhere along that journey, my confidence started to grow.

What I’ve realised is this: confidence didn’t just appear out of nowhere it came from results. From showing up, putting in the work, and proving to myself that I could actually do things I once doubted.

And the best part? When your confidence is built on real effort and real results, no one can take that away from you.

Just something I wanted to share. For anyone out there struggling with confidence keep going. Keep working. Build something real for yourself.

Back in 2017 in Hong Kong, I was 23–24 years old starting my first company, JT Health & Fitness.

At the time I was running on about 4 hours of sleep a night. I had just made what many people would call a poor decision — buying a property while also taking a massive risk starting a business.

Looking back now, it probably was crazy.

Today I had one of those full circle moments that just feels magical

Today I had a real eye-opening revelation.

Yes, competition pushes you but there’s something deeper it teaches you: evolution. Becoming better every single day.

Maybe I’ll have one more fight before I call it a day and change to being a ballerina. Fighting has taught me so much… discipline, focus, humility. But I’m starting to feel that it’s time to go full-time into business because right now, I’m genuinely obsessed with AI.

What I realised today is this:

In fighting, people argue endlessly about which style is “better.”
Muay Thai vs Jiujitsu. MMA vs Wing Chun. But the truth is… everything matters. Each art has its purpose. Each skill fills a gap.

And business is the exact same.

You can’t say, “I’m only good at sales,” because then you’re missing marketing.
You can’t say, “I’m great at marketing,” but avoid building systems — because then you can’t scale.

It all connects. It all aligns.

My revelation today was simple:
