After nearly 25 years of bringing its contemporary interpretation of Japanese izakaya dining around the world, Zuma is heading to where its story began: Japan.
This winter, Zuma makes its first entry into the country with a seasonal pop-up in Niseko, bringing its signature robata, contemporary Japanese cuisine and high-energy atmosphere to the slopes of Hirafu.
Opening just ahead of the brand’s 25th anniversary, the homecoming marks a fitting new chapter for Zuma — connecting its Japanese heritage with one of the world’s most celebrated alpine destinations.

The most memorable stays often begin with a deeper understanding of place.

With the opening of Canopy Bangkok Sukhumvit, Canopy Hotels makes its South East Asia debut in Asoke, one of Bangkok’s most connected neighbourhoods, where business, dining, nightlife and everyday city life converge.

From AvroKO’s locally inspired design to collaborations with Bangkok makers and experiences led by a dedicated City Curator, the hotel invites guests to discover the people, stories and creative energy that shape the district beyond its familiar skyline.

Asia’s best bars are no longer following global trends—they’re defining them.

Leading this year’s Asia’s 50 Best Bars ranking is Hope & Sesame in Guangzhou, crowned The Best Bar in Asia 2026. Hidden behind a traditional Cantonese storefront, the bar has built its reputation on inventive cocktails inspired by Chinese culinary heritage, regional flavours and a distinctly modern perspective.

This year’s list spans 22 cities and welcomes 14 new entries, reflecting the continued evolution of Asia’s bar scene. It also marks Mainland China’s strongest-ever showing, with seven bars recognised across the ranking.

Later this year, Kimpton will make its Indonesia debut with Kimpton Suntaya Bali Ubud, bringing the brand’s signature blend of design-led spaces, intuitive hospitality and local character to one of Bali’s most creative destinations.

Set along the Wos River, the hotel draws inspiration from Balinese traditions, contemporary architecture and the rhythms of Ubud, creating a stay that feels both connected to place and distinctly Kimpton.

What does sustainability look like at the scale of a 90-hectare resort?
At AYANA Bali, it spans everything from renewable energy and water stewardship to regenerative farming, biodiversity and more responsible resource management.

Recognised with the ASEAN Green Hotel Award 2026–2028, the integrated destination continues to demonstrate how environmental responsibility can be embedded into the everyday operation of large-scale hospitality.

The best hotels don’t just occupy a neighbourhood — they reflect it.
Making its South East Asia debut this August, Canopy Bangkok Sukhumvit draws inspiration from Asoke’s cinematic past, blending locally influenced design, social spaces and neighbourhood experiences into a boutique stay that encourages guests to explore the city beyond the hotel.

Designed by AvroKO, the property marks a new chapter for the Canopy brand in one of Bangkok’s most connected districts.

The world’s most influential wine clubs are no longer defined by where they began, but by where they choose to grow.

This December, 67 Pall Mall opens its first mainland China club in Shanghai, marking a significant milestone in the group’s international expansion. Housed within the historic Grand Mansion on Donghu Road, the new club will bring together one of China’s most extensive fine wine collections with a programme of tastings, winemaker dinners and a global community of wine enthusiasts.

Set within a century-old landmark, the opening reflects Shanghai’s growing importance as a destination for fine wine, gastronomy and cultural exchange.
