Cezanne-Renoir exhibition reassesses the narrative of Impressionism. Far from being a sentimental painter only, Renoir made some groundbreaking contributions, as revolutionary as the ones of Cezanne. It is a privilege to see some of the artists' masterpieces and to see how they influenced major artists such as Picasso.

The exhibition was initiated thanks to an encounter her colleague at L’ECOLE in Paris made with the collector behind the largest Shakudo ensemble in the world. That led to the first major presentation of pieces of Jewelry made with Shakudo.

This metal alloy, originally the pride of samurai swords decorations, found its way on Jewelry for export thanks to the resourcefulness of the craftsmen behind it.
The show runs from December 12, 2024, until April 13 2025 at L’ECOLE in the k11 MUSEA

Laure Raibaut co-curated and produced this show for L’ECOLE in Hong Kong, an institution she regularly contributes to as a long time lectur

Laure worked closely with Louis To wun 杜焕 from the beginning of this project, which is presented by CWC art gallery. Laure supported the artist through the creation and production, as well as logistics. She also wrote the curatorial message for Louis’s artwork SAN SYU WAT LEOT ARE NOT HERE!! ....
