One year ago, Sophie & Brandon said “yes” to forever in Dubrovnik. 🤍

A few days ago was their first wedding anniversary, and looking back at this day reminded us why we love what we do so much.

One of the most fulfilling parts of our work is meeting genuinely kind, wonderful people and creating experiences that feel relaxed, meaningful, and true to them. Even though the photos may look like a styled editorial shoot, the reality was completely different: calm, easygoing, and full of real moments.

Their day started with a slow morning getting ready at beautiful Villa Mey’s Place, followed by wandering through the timeless streets of Dubrovnik Old Town with no rush, no pressure, just enjoying the atmosphere together.

Later, we took a boat to Lokrum, where they exchanged their vows among the beautiful monastery ruins, accompanied by the sound of a cello and peacocks echoing through the island. It felt intimate, emotional, and beautifully simple.

We always leave days like this feeling grateful. Not only for the places we get to see, but for the people we get to meet along the way. and thank you for trusting us to be part of your story. 🤍

Opening the season in Dubrovnik with a spring elopement like this felt pretty special 🤍

Their day started at Palace Natali with a slow morning and first look before heading to a secluded viewpoint for the ceremony. Afterwards, we spent the afternoon wandering through Dubrovnik together, stopping wherever the light and the city felt right.

This is exactly why we love spring weddings here so much. The city is calmer, the air still feels fresh, the light is soft almost the entire day and everything somehow feels more intimate. You can actually move through Dubrovnik slowly, without rushing, and enjoy all those little in-between moments that make the day feel real.

This day was such a beautiful way to begin the season.

One of the Most Extreme Elopements We’ve Ever Photographed

With winter storms and strong winds rolling across Croatia these days, we were reminded of one of the most extreme elopements we’ve ever documented. It happened on Malta, on the island of Gozo, at the dramatic cliffs of Dwejra Bay, just above the area where the famous Azure Window once stood.

The conditions that day were unlike anything we had experienced before. Wind so strong it felt almost sculptural, pushing against the cliffs and carrying the sound of waves high above the sea. At one point, the waves were crashing so powerfully against the rocks that the spray travelled far inland, and by the time we filmed the final shots, the lens was already covered in salt and sea mist.

Most couples would have postponed, moved locations or played it safe. But these two leaned into the weather and embraced the raw, untamed atmosphere that makes elopements unforgettable.

Gozo gave us everything at once: towering limestone walls, wild seas, shifting light and a landscape that looked both cinematic and ancient. Instead of fighting the wind, we used it. The movement in the dress, the hair, the sound, the energy, it all became part of the story.

Malta is one of the most beautiful places for a sea-focused elopement. The mix of cliffs, coastal winds, natural textures and open horizons creates a setting that feels both intimate and vast. It’s a place where the landscape shapes the day, and where nature brings its own kind of poetry.
