Hey you, stop.

Check what you have around you. Ain't it beautiful? Yeah, I get it, there's a lot going on but what if you just stop and look at the beautiful things in life?

One practice that has greatly helped me in doing that is having a gratitude practice (this is backed up by science btw).

I do it in two different places.

- 1. Notion. Every end of the week, during my weekly review, there's a space for writing what I'm grateful for in this week, and I store it in a database. Cool think about this? At a glance I can see all the things I've been grateful in the past and fill my self with good energy!

- 2 My plain paper Journal. I've just started this practice today. At the bottom of each entry I will write a line and below it one (yes, just one) thing I feel grateful for. Today that's been "I feel grateful for having enough savings to live off of whilst building my business".

Do you have a gratitude practice? If so, how does it look like! Tell me in the comments.

Met this happy guy on a little day trip I took to take pictures to test my presets with.

Most temples in Bali are now closed, and this way was at the doors of one, far far away from any village, just sitting by the entrance stairs, next to the closed doors.

When I came by he greeted me effusively and when he saw that I had a camera he even posed for me😍

Can you see the wrinkles on his eyes? Those are smiling wrinkles and yes, they're everywhere in Bali. One of the reasons I'm in love with this island.

Putting together a high quality online course is really challenging (but fun IMO)

For me the best part is recording the B-roll (this is, whatever is not talking-head shots, which constitutes the A-roll).

This is the part in which my creative brain really starts to work out ways to better explain or exemplify what the teacher is explaining.

One of the online courses I'm working on is about Lucid Dreaming (being conscious in your sleep and having control over your dreams), and in one of the B-Roll shots I'm going to have to create a hand with 6 fingers...

I'm still wondering how I'm going to do that😕

Hey, lot's of things are changing in today's world, but whatcha gon' do?

Well, there's one thing that never fails, and this is education. You can never go wrong in investing time in learning something new.

Even if it's not related to your expertise whatsoever.

I believe that the more we expose ourselves to more different information, the more our minds open and the higher the chances of finding something we can really excel at!

That's why online courses are growing so much in popularity nowadays. People are starting to believe much more in online vs traditional education and are willing to pay for it.

Also online courses are a fraction of what universities cost! So it's a no brainer

What about you? Are you currently enrolled in some online course?

I'm taking courses on FB ads and copywriting at the moment.

If you find a framing that directly draws your attention and the light towards your subject, marry it!

No vignette was needed to capture this shot... All natural shadows.

Hey you, yes you, you can do it.

It may seem difficult at first, you may feel lost, but keep going... just keep going. You got this. It's just a few more steps ahead.

But once you get there... keep going😏

How important is to have a clear goal and how important is to believe in it!

Since I started creating online courses as a service for other people I haven't even been so sure about what I wanted to do.

It's a win-win-win!

Win for the client since they get to teach their expertise to a much broader audience earning semipassive income along the way.

Win for me because I get to learn a lot of different things from a wide variety of topics and it's related to filmmaking too.

Win for everyone that get to learn from people that hadn't I started this service they wouldn't have been able to do so.

When everything clicks, you feel it!

I know this photo is cliché of Bali, I get it, but couldn't resist!

That day we took one full day off (which is rare, since we're always working), and .saltykova_ and me went to Lekeleke waterfall with our neighbours and . It's amazing to visit Bali during this time since there's virtually no tourism.

We had the chance of being in the waterfall just ourselves for over an our, til one person came.

Needless to say, next day back to work but with a smile on our faces😄

Would you consider this photo a selfie?

In fact it is! I took a full day by myself with my camera, tripod and drone in order to take photos of myself.

A by-product was to have more pics to test my presets with... but we all know the main reason was to have more me-pics😎

Almost every DSLR nowadays comes with a smartphone app that lets you control the camera remotely.

So in order to take pics like this, place your tripod with the framing you wanna capture, get in the frame, check your positioning and posture in your phone screen, and once you're ready click the shutter button to take the pic (10sec timer pics please. I need time to hide my phone).

Easy peasy! And quite fun to do... I love the creative process😍

Wanna try?

How would you feel driving by yourself in a road like this?

I was completely surrounded by nature. Palm trees on both sides. A soothing fresh breeze caressing my skin. Remembrances of the very small Balinese village I just passed by. And completely noone on the road. No one.

It's been 3 years since my life changed dramatically.

Jun 2017 I was on a flight to China. It was my first time visiting Asia and I was super excited for my new adventure.

Long story short, I worked there as an engineer for 2 and a half years, and during that time I visited countless countries and had some of the most amazing experiences in my life.

From organising salsa parties in Shenzhen for over a year to inhaling laughing balloons in Vietnam, diving with turtles in the Philippines, skydiving in Melbourne... Always celebrating my birthday in a different country (Vietnam, India and Bali). Always meeting new people from all over the world. Getting to know Chinese culture. Learning Chinese. Learning to public speak. Becoming more organised. Learning to make professional videos...

SO MUCH LEARNING during that time.

And now here I am... With a much more open mind than when everything started. Living in Bali, Indonesia. Doing what I really like doing. And sharing all this experience it with the best girl in the world.

I would've never even imagined that June 2017 would have such an impact on what was going to be my *new life*.

And for that I am and will be eternally grateful!
