So how did Brewww come about?
When I was younger I loved design, from designing my own video game covers to football jerseys and so much more. The type of design course I did in college wasn't for me so it wasn't until four years after finishing that I got a graphic design job. Very quickly after that I fell in love with the web side of things, from designing and building websites and online stores to SEO, automation and everything else that goes with it.
I worked with two great studios over a four-year period but in mid-2021 I decided to leave my job and try my hand at full-time freelancing.
I had a choice to make. Who do I want to work with? While I had somewhat fallen into a niche, my passion for all things food and drink and supporting small/independent businesses meant it'd be more enjoyable and fulfilling to work with and help these types of businesses.
Chatting with people from the food and drink industry over the last year and a half made me realise that investing in their online presence, particularly when starting out, is a bigger risk for them than most.
Taking this into account when creating the business model for Brewww I decided to take some of that risk and offer a subscription plan, essentially paying for your website over 24 months rather than a large upfront cost.
A lot of people are unsure of where to even start and would like some advice along the way. Also, I didn't like seeing websites built and then being left to get stale and not work as well as they should for the business, so part of the business model of Brewww is ongoing support and consultation (1-2 hours per month included with each subscription). This could be anything from support calls, SEO work, content creation, etc.
I want to build the best websites possible for clients so also included in the subscriptions is:
đ An SEO-Optimised Website
đĻģ An Accessibility Focused Build
âī¸ Copywriting Collaboration
đ Auto-Updating Legal Policies (GDPR compliance)
đ Premium Hosting, SSL, CDN, & Security
đ Analytics Dashboard
đ A Blog
đ Contact Forms
More features are included in higher plans.
I'll also offer add-ons including ongoing SEO, email marketing, blogging services, social media and/or ads management, lead capture systems, automation systems set-up, and other things which I believe will help clients' businesses grow.
The website is still a work in progress but for now you can find some information at brewww.ie.
