The DNC released a post-election review. The communications industry should have studied it, not for the politics, but for the technique.

What they produced is a textbook example of a document engineered to look transparent while systematically avoiding the institutional accountability that transparency actually requires.

It created a news cycle. It gave surrogates something to point to. It cost no one inside the organization anything.

And that's exactly the problem.

February 12, 2026, is now **Kenan Thompson Day** in the City of Atlanta and Fulton County, Georgia.

From the Alliance Theater School to Tri-Cities High School to becoming the longest-tenured cast member in *Saturday Night Live* history, Kenan Thompson’s journey is a masterclass in what happens when talent meets opportunity—and a city invests in its children.

Fulton County Commissioner Marvin S. Arrington Jr. (District 5) presented the Fulton County proclamation, while Atlanta City Councilmember Eshé Collins (Post 3 at Large) delivered an official declaration recognizing Thompson as an Emmy Award-winning actor, comedian, producer, author, and cultural icon whose career has brought joy, laughter, and representation to audiences for more than three decades.
