Build Your Future is a free course for 16 – 25 year olds living in Dublin North Inner City, which will provide you with the skills required to be a social entrepreneur and changemaker in your community. You will gain skills such as developing innovative ideas, prototyping, marketing, business planning and operations, which will prepare you for employment, self-employment and/or future education, e

nhancing your chances to collaborate with others and access life changing opportunities. You will also have many opportunities to meet local entrepreneurs and innovators in your community. Social Innovation is the practice of using creativity to develop solutions which improve being of people and society. A social entrepreneur is a person who has an innovative/creative idea
that has the potential to solve a problem in society (community or global) and develops this idea into a thriving business. It's about creative problem solving and developing great ideas to make a positive impact in the world. Fantastic opportunity from Inner City Enterprise for social entrepreneurship :)

Coop member, Inner City Enterprise (ICE), is now taking applications for the 2017 Social Enterprise Grant Scheme. The scheme currently has €50,000 at its disposal and which will be used to provide a small number of flexible grants for Social Enterprises, either at start-up or development phase.

The Social Enterprise Grant Scheme is a scheme established by ICE, and drawn down under the Local Enterprise Office (LEO), Dublin.The closing date for submissions is 19th May 2017.
