♡ One whole year of design! ♡

I can’t believe it’s been a whole year to the day since I launched my website and took the leap into running my own business!

One thing I’ve definitely learned along the way is that when you run your own business, you wear a lot of hats — I’m the designer, the secretary, the accountant, the marketer… and everything in between!

There have been plenty of exciting projects, lots of learning, a few wobbles, ALOT of tea consumed, and thankfully, a very manageable commute to my home office. ☕️😂

To everyone who has trusted me with their ideas, recommended me, shared my work, sent an enquiry or simply followed along - thank you so much. It genuinely means a lot.

I’m so grateful for how the first year has gone and very excited to see what Year Two brings.

There’s something special about seeing your work still out there, years later.

Over 10 years ago, I designed the interpretation panels for the Kynoch Heritage Walk in Arklow, while working with a local sign company. At the time, I don’t think I realised quite how much this project would stay with me. Coming back to it now has reminded me of my love of local history and how much I enjoy uncovering the stories hidden in the places around us.

Perhaps that’s what I love most about design: it can help keep those stories alive. Sometimes, you just never know where one project can lead you

**Retro Treasure**

My husband found this really old 7up can and he knew instantly I would appreciate it. It is nearly 31 years old!

You had to collect 7up labels or ring pulls and cover the postage cost to claim a prize.

🌟 A brand refresh for the next chapter 🌟

After more than 20 years in business, Love Beauty was ready for a fresh new look that reflected where the business is today and the exciting plans ahead.

The new branding was designed to capture the professionalism, care and attention that clients experience from the moment they walk through the door.

From the logo suite and printed materials to social media assets, every element now works together to create a polished and consistent brand presence.

It was a pleasure to work with the Love Beauty team on this project. Their enthusiasm throughout the process made it a truly enjoyable collaboration.

The final result is a brand that feels fresh, confident and ready for the next chapter in their business journey.

I have to be honest...

Over the years, when people have asked me what I do and I tell them I'm a graphic designer, I've often been met with a blank look. Many people aren't quite sure what graphic design actually is.

The funny thing is, graphic design is everywhere. It's on your cereal box, the bus signs you follow, the apps you use, the menus you read, and even the jersey you wear to support your favourite team. You interact with graphic design hundreds of times every day.

Graphic design helps us communicate, navigate, choose, learn, and connect with the world around us.

As you go through your day today, take a look around.
Once you start noticing design, you can't unsee it.

A little detail that says so much ✨

I was delighted to work on this project with Ballykealey House. These bespoke wax seals we created are a finishing touch for a truly special wedding at Ballykealey House — a place where history lives in every corner.

Designed with the house’s monogram at the centre, each seal carries a sense of heritage and elegance. The antique gold tone paired with a soft metallic pearl finish gives them that timeless, heirloom feel… as though they’ve always belonged there.

Self-adhesive and beautifully tactile, they’ll be used on the couple’s table plans.

Because it’s often the smallest touches that leave the biggest impression.
