Notice for Business Owners: Trading Online Voucher Scheme From Local Enterprise Office

Under the Government’s National Digital Strategy, the expanded Trading Online Voucher Scheme helps small businesses with up to 10 employees to trade more online, boost sales and reach new markets. There is up to €2,500 available through the Local Enterprise Offices with co-funding of 10% from the business*.

Training and further business supports are also provided by Local Enterprise Offices, and businesses that have already received a Trading Online Voucher can now apply for a second voucher, where upgrades are required.

Funding can be used towards adding payment facilities or booking systems to your website or developing new apps for your customers. The voucher can also be used towards subscriptions to low cost online retail platform solutions, to help companies quickly establish a retailing presence online.

I know businesses are in a strange place & struggling after the shock of this lockdown. Thankfully I had the pleasure of informing most of my clients that their online sales grew by 30% in March.

Remember even in these strange times, there are great opportunities for online businesses. Here is a snap shot from some clients that are happy to share their results. We have never worked as hard helping our clients during this time. We have seen clients with an average increase of 330% in sales this March compared to the same period last year...!!

This is a once in a lifetime moment where the majority of your target audience is at home. Kids are bored, parents are bored. They will be online looking for activities to buy online, tools to do that repair they have been holding off, outdoor gear to get exercise, garden products as the weather is getting warmer.
