🤖 AI gives you a draft. 💬 You add your voice.
There's a lot of noise about AI in business right now.
Some of it is useful, most of it's not. And a lot of small business owners I talk to are quietly overwhelmed by the whole thing.
So here's the short version, mapped to the five stages from search to loyal customer:
1️⃣ Getting Found
AI is great for SEO topics and meta descriptions. Not for publishing articles unedited.
2️⃣ Getting Known
Use it for first drafts and repurposing content. Don't hand over your whole brand voice.
3️⃣ Getting Leads
Brilliant for lead magnets and FAQ content. Less good as a chatbot managing real enquiries.
4️⃣ Getting Clients
Helpful for researching leads & preparing proposals. Convincing conversations need you!
5️⃣ Keeping Clients
Great for check-ins and meeting summaries. Don't automate the personal touch out of existence.
The bit nearly everyone skips:
→ Brief AI like a person, not a search engine
→ Treat AI output as a draft and edit hard, don't regurgitate
→ Decide what YOU want before you ask
