This time last month, Caroline and Karen were packing up and preparing to go to Hamburg for our international client, PEMA - The Port Equipment Manufacturers' Association's annual TOC Europe exhibition 🇩🇪 and now...it's all over for another year!

It was a very busy week, with a lot of plans in place. What did they get up to?

✔ A harbour cruise of Hamburg with thanks to UEBEX GmbH for the invitation - co-hosted with Source for Service GmbH and PTC Gmbh
✔ Hosted the annual PEMA Drinks Reception for members on our stand
✔ Made new valuable connections with prospective members
✔ Continued discussion and networked with PEMA's current members
✔ Visited existing association members to support them through their membership benefits

While the girls travel to these trade shows and exhibitions across seas, they take inspiration from other brands and big names. From genius branding ideas, smart innovations, new initiatives and sustainable action, they debrief what they see and share notes with the rest of the OCM team to take new ideas to other clients and future projects.

We were glued to our screens this morning for the first video in a four-part series by Traitors Ireland star, Nick O’Loughlin, on a recent visit to our clients at Killeen Castle for a quality golfing getaway with his LoughLane golfing crew!

The castle estate boasts a world-class Jack Nicklaus championship course, one of only two courses designed by the 18-time major championship winner in Ireland.

Killeen Castle hosted the 2025 HotelPlanner Irish Challenge in which the Frenchman, Oihan Guillamoundeguy secured a three-stroke victory. The action-packed tournament will return to the award-winning estate in the Summer of 2026 & 2027!

This morning we sat down as a team and enjoyed some delicious iced coffees and açai bowls from our local café, BTwenty7 as part of our Workplace Wellness day 🫐🍓

Our team love the hybrid working model that we have at OCM, the mix of WFH days and office days helps to foster creativity and maximise project output while maintaining a comfortable work-life balance.

And that's a wrap! Jean, Karen and Caroline have returned to reality after a successful client event ⭐

Team OCM headed to Lisbon to host the AGM for the international association, PEMA. While the agenda is packed with the usual technical workshops, conference, tours, dinners and more, for the AGM, the legality requirements must be met.

As usual, each Jean, Karen and Caroline bossed their fields on conference days to ensure everything was running smoothly and expectations were met. While they are making sure everything to the outside was running satisfactory, they were also making sure the details in the background were perfect; sponsorship deliverables, AV needs, speaker presentation briefings and more.

For now, we action ahead Ravenna, Italy in October 2026, and we can't wait for Duisberg, Germany and Karela, India in 2027 🌍
