A brand’s identity begins with their brand story, an articulation of the brand’s purpose through a compelling emotional narrative. Milestones specializes in selling colored and shaped diamonds and precious stones online, and their brand story is still one of my favorites.

Here's an excerpt:

"Once diamonds were considered the personification of romantic love, articulated. We believed head and heart in the promise of the love declared through a white stone, small box and bended knee. But today we know better. While romantic love is part of our story, it is not our whole story. Our lives are moulded by many a milestone, and we choose to mark them in full color."
