*OPD services to resume at SKIMS Soura from tomorrow*

Srinagar, Feb 01 (KNO): In view of decline in Covid-19 cases since last few days, the authorities at SKIMS Soura have decided to resume OPD services from tomorrow.

"In the interest of patient care and keeping in view plateauing of COVID wave in Kashmir, it is hereby ordered that the functioning of SKIMS OPD will resume from Wednesday i.e. 2nd February 2022," reads the order issued by Medical Superintendent SKIMS Farooq A Jan, a copy of which lies with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

Pertinently, OPD services were closed and tele consultations were started at SKIMS Soura in second week of January after Covid cases surged in J&K—(KNO)

*Two residential houses gutted in pattan fire incident*

Pattan, Jan 31 (KNS): Two residential houses were gutted at Dargam village of Pattan in North Kashmir's Baramulla district on Monday afternoon.

Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that two residential houses belonging to Gh. Hassan Parray s/o Mohd Sultan Parray and Mohd.Maqbool Parray S/O Gh. Mohd. Parray were gutted in the fire incident at Dargam locality of pattan.

They said that fire tenders managed to douse off the flames and prevented it from spreading further with the help of locals and Police.

Meanwhile, an official while confirming the incident said the cause of fire was being ascertained. (KNS)
