I have already got 2 school students and both of these students are from grade 8th, a boy and a girl.

The girl started just a week ago on 18th, whereas the boy started on 5th of November.

Both have different set of challenge.

The girl faces challenge in mathamatical fundamentals and the boy struggle both at math and reading.

Surprisingly both children can think well and are coming from top schools (most expensive too) but were still struggling in their respective schools.

Their parents are also caring and are willing to support their child, and despite that children were struggling.

And then we started working with them.

Its been just a week with the girl and she was so happy today as she reported that she got really good result on math test in the class today (on the chapter that we did this week) as she scored 9 out of 10.

But she was not happy just for the marks, what she was happy about was for a fact that one question that almost entire class did wrong, she did it right and her classmates were coming to ask her, how she did that.

The boy who started at 5th of this month, when he came to me, he was struggling to read both in English and Hindi even the smallest of the words.

I knew it is going to be an uphill task, but what I understand, he is struggling in maths primarily because he cannot read well. If only he could read, he would have improved at least 2 grade levels up.

That tells me a lot about how schools are not living up to the expectations.

I am so happy that our new (pedagogy) teaching mechanism is able to improve their life in some way.

If your child is struggling at school, or if you are an enthusiastic teacher, you may follow our page.

I started this page, in the beginning of November 2025, just to help teachers and parents of school going children to enable them to be able to help their children on school performance.

At, EdMonks Learning Systems, we are going to work with a few school students and will share our learnings with our audience. Stay Tuned.

We are well aware about the rising instances of negative impact that the internet can have on children.
Even the government of India has taken out a circular making parents aware that installing Parental Control Filters at home is a must-do activity.
Government is taking efforts to spread awareness about the parental control filters and its importance.
Even our partner safeinternetforkids.in by Happy Parents Lab is organising 50 free awareness sessions for parents at various schools.
We wish to help them do this good work.
You may tag the school leader of your child's school in the comments to inform them to organise this free session for you or may ask them to write to [email protected]

How can you help your child to become more creative?

Creativity is nothing but the skill to combine different things and process them in unique ways

So your barbie doll can become a goddess or even a god if need be

She can also become Medusa from the Greek mythology

or maybe Egyptian goddess Isis

some stuff in the house a little bit of playdough can execute this transformation

but before that

you need to let your children explore these spaces

Why should you teach your child to respect other religions?

As per the 'Future of jobs' report by the World Economic Forum, COMPLEX PROBLEM SOLVING is one of the top required skills of the times

And a Complex Problem by definition does not have a fixed solution

Even the problem itself is very ill-defined and so the rigidity of mindset will always be a hindrance in solving it

The future is full of many complex problems

For example, this pandemic was/is a complex problem

and someone who can really solve it will obviously be a most desirable person today

But with a rigid mindset, one has a very minuscule chance to solve a complex problem

So why not encourage your child to explore other religions

I see a funny thing in an Indian Household today

We all encourage our children to explore the stories from the Egyptian and Greek Mythology,

but the moment it comes to knowing Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Islamic, Jain, Bodh stories

we become very selective

WHY?

why do we stop our children to explore

Let your children be ready to solve large complex problems

Let them explore things beyond your religion

NOTe 1 | I am not saying at all that do not let them explore your own religion, just saying, add more options, it will give them perspective and creativity

NOTE 2 | I am not a shrine type person, For the first time in my life, I visited a and a times ancient temple and my frequency of visiting even Hindu temples is fairly less

NOTE 3 | I am building Moksha Path to improve the access to the stories of Ancient Hindu Scriptures, but our fundamental work at Moksha Path is relevant for people from any religion because the children from any religion are facing the same problems.

Hope you will help your children to become more open-minded

Out of all the five , 'gifts' is certainly not the favorite one for our daughter

But even then . . .

when she got the full cycling gears and a bicycle

the joy on her face tells you, she must be very excited

This picture was taken some 4 years ago

But it now looks timeless (at least to me)

Her favorite love language is 'quality time'

Then why do you think, she is responding so vehemently

Children love action

But . .

in our lethargy,
we allow them to be passive to use gadgets and devices

In our lethargy
we allow them YouTube, Video Games & Netflixes

in our lethargy
we do not play with them, we do not spend time with them

and then gradually
they stop responding even to their own love language

And years later . . .

in our lethargy only
we now want them to become an active player, a go-getter
overnight

But by now
they are lost

Have you tried to understand the love language of your child?
Are you working on it?

In a school PTM of standard 4, a mother was talking to another one

"My daughter is learning to code this summer.

I have bought her a world-class program, she will be trained by the professionals from the UK, what is your son doing this time"

The other one replied

"Oh, he is interested in Robotics, we have bought him a robotics kit worth $1000 and he is also joining a technology workshop this summer"

Just then the teacher arrived and said

"Well ladies, In the last PTM 3 months ago, I told you that your children are not reading at the grade average

I even suggested an economic but quality program

Have you made up your mind to grab that"

The ladies replied almost in chorus

"Well, we would like to invest in stuff and technology programs and not into generic things"

That has become the psyche of most parents

Believe me,

you cannot move toward the future without fixing the fundamentals

Reading, Writing (Expression, not calligraphy), Arithmetic are fundamentals

Can you invest in at least one book every week to improve their reading?

If you can, do that now

buy relevant books.

A seasoned educationist Veena Raizada once asked me

"It is fine that you are helping and other in implementing futuristic education in schools

But what is your own thing?

What have you developed and grown so far"

It was very annoying at that point in time

But she was right

If you are a trainer or a consultant, especially in the education space, you just help others do their job better

But what is your own thing?

What impact have you created?

What change have you made in the system?

That day she gave e a riddle

And I did not know How to solve that?

Over time, I have found two devices that can help you solve this riddle

1. The Influencer Mindset

As a trainer or a consultant, we do not want to share what we know with those who have not paid

but as an influencer you share your thoughts freely without abound

without an expectation

that increase your authority in the market

I can recall when in Feb 2021

I started sharing my thoughts freely through a youtube channel around school growth and innovation

and I finally switched from Consultant to an Influencer mode

(and I got more and more business too)

2. The Productisation

The second thing I have discovered for myself (after that conversation) is that you need to build products and not just services

even if you are offering services, you should try to convert them into a product

So right now, I am trying to build a product to induce 'futuristic education in schools'

and let me tell you, it is difficult

But I am very excited

Trust me, this post is not about teaching coding to children. It is about and about

When I decided to clean my laptop today, I got to see these two snapshots.

These are almost 4 years old snapshots.

I was trying to teach computational thinking to my 8-year-old daughter using scratch.

My daughter wrote a program for a staircase and a helical loop

and she loved it.

We did it on the Scratch website by MIT

We could have also done it

through Code dot org
or through Khan Academy

The list is never-ending.

Learning anything new is virtually FREE today.

And things have become so intuitive that children themselves can learn all that

But still, parents are willing to buy nannies

So that they can buy time for themselves

You will say, "No, Coding is tuff, not everyone knows it"

Then why are educated parents sending their 6-7-year-olds to tuition after school?

Simply put, as a parent, we do not want to spend time with our children

Hope you understand now

The best education for the future starts with you

Start investing your time on your children

Prof Pant told me a wonderful thing after which I reduced visiting large events substantially

One day I was talking to him and I asked him, "how can I get more speaking opportunities".

And he said, "why do you want that?"

I said "Well that way, I can improve my network"

"and why do you believe that"

I wondered 'What' but still said, "Well I can meet so many people in one single place "

And he told me "Meeting more people does not grow your network, meeting fewer people do.

If you meet people at a large event you are always keen to meet more people and you do not get to know these people any better

But in a place where you are meeting in a group of 5 or less, you have a much better opportunity to make a meaningful conversation, and only that eventually makes a network for you"

He himself chooses very limited events to speak and most of the time he prefers to meet people on a one-to-one basis.

From that day onwards, I reduced my want of meeting a lot of people at one large event and started meeting people on a one-to-one basis or in a group of 5 or fewer.

Are you teaching this idea to your child?

Are you teaching this idea to yourself?
