लखनऊ में 25 दिसंबर को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा राष्ट्र प्रेरणा स्थल का उद्घाटन किया गया था। इस कार्यक्रम के बाद एक गंभीर मामला सामने आया है। एक एनजीओ के अनुसार, उद्घाटन समारोह में बचा हुआ भोजन परिसर के पास ही फेंक दिया गया, जिसे वहां मौजूद भेड़ों ने खा लिया।

बताया जा रहा है कि भोजन बासी और सड़ा हुआ था। उसे खाने के कुछ ही समय बाद भेड़ों की तबीयत बिगड़ने लगी। वे बेचैन होकर चिल्लाने लगीं और फिर एक-एक कर बेहोश होने लगीं। इस घटना के चलते सोमवार सुबह तक करीब 170 भेड़ों की मौत हो गई, जबकि कई अन्य की हालत अब भी गंभीर बनी हुई है।

इस मामले ने प्रशासन और व्यवस्थाओं पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं।
