The Golconda Police have successfully detected and solved a sensational murder case registered in Cr. No. 229/2026 of Golconda Police Station under Sections 103(1), 329(4), 118(1) r/w 3(5) BNS and Section 25(1A) of the Arms Act, 1959. In connection with the case, four accused persons, namely
Shaik Zahed @ Sohail (A1),
Zeeshan Nawab @ Jaber (A2),
Amer Nawab @ Laddu (A3),
and Nafeez Sulthana (A4),
were apprehended and produced before the Honโble Court, which remanded them to judicial custody.
The case was registered on the complaint of the father of the deceased, Shaik Mahboob , who alleged that the accused had forcefully entered their residence and attacked his son with deadly weapons. Investigation revealed that the deceased had contracted a love marriage in January 2025, which was strongly opposed by A1, the brother of the deceased's wife. Owing to the marriage and subsequent family disputes, deep-rooted animosity developed between the parties.
Further investigation disclosed that, acting with a common intention and driven by personal vendetta, A1 Shaik Zahed @ Sohail, along with A2 Zeeshan Nawab @ Jaber, A3 Amer Nawab @ Laddu, and A4 Nafeez Sulthana, allegedly entered the victim's house armed with an iron rod, knife, and wooden sticks. The accused brutally assaulted the victim, inflicting fatal injuries. Family members who attempted to intervene were also attacked and sustained injuries during the incident.
Acting swiftly on credible information, a special team led by the Detective Inspector of Police, Golconda Police Station, under the supervision of Sri Syed Fiaz, ACP, Tolichowki Division, traced and apprehended all four accused on 13.06.2026. During the course of investigation, the police recovered and seized the weapons used in the offence, including an iron rod and a knife. The successful detection of the case reflects the professional efficiency and commitment of Hyderabad City Police in ensuring that those responsible for heinous crimes are promptly brought to justice.
