“Public Urges DC Daporijo to Stop Unofficial Excess over Charges for official Documents Certificates / Form

Citizens have raised serious concern regarding unofficial excess over charges collected during the issuance of government documents and certificates / any form at DC Office Daporijo. By govt. Official Staff

An urge letter has been submitted to the Deputy Commissioner highlighting that many from economically weaker sections, are facing difficulties due to overcharging and lack of clarity in official fee structure.

The public has demanded transparency and accountability in the system, as many people are confused about the actual
government-approved fees for certificates and forms / any official documents

01. Display official actuel aproved fee rate chart clearly in every office

02. Introduce Government-approved QR code payment system for payment

Meanwhile, patients—some of them serious and coming from far areas—are left waiting for long periods.
At first, it appears doctors are busy with patient treatment, but often time is being taken by product promotion. This causes unnecessary delay and affects patient care.

All medical product sales agents are kindly requested to meet doctors at fixed or non-consultation hours only. Please do not disturb during patient consultation time.

In recent days , it has been observed that many medical product sales representatives agent visit doctors during consultation hours. This often leads to delays, while patients—especially those coming from far areas—are left waiting for treatment.
Patients’ health and time are extremely valuable. Any unnecessary delay during medical consultation can cause serious inconvenience and risk to those in need of urgent care.

India, the right for a Sikh person to carry a Kirpan (ceremonial sword/dagger) is a constitutionally protected fundamental right. It is not just "allowed" as a legal loophole but is explicitly recognized as part of practicing the Sikh religion.

​1. Constitutional Protection
​Under Article 25 of the Indian Constitution, all citizens have the freedom to practice their religion. "The wearing and carrying of kirpans shall be deemed to be included in the profession of the Sikh religion."

​02. The Sikh, the Kirpan is considered a religious symbol rather than a weapon under the law.

​03. . Rules for Air Travel (Domestic)
​Allowed on Person: Sikh passengers are permitted to carry a Kirpan on their person during domestic flights within India.
​Size Limits: * The blade length must not exceed 6 inches (15.24 cm).
​The total length (including the handle) must not exceed 9 inches (22.86 cm)
This is only for domestic travel. For international flights, the Kirpan must usually be placed in checked luggage, as international aviation laws are stricter.

​04. Public Places and Exams
​Schools & Colleges: Sikh students are generally allowed to wear the Kirpan on campus.
