The Arunachal Jan Kalyan Sangathan (AJKS) has demanded the termination of the alleged loss-making APSTS–Sachkhand agreement and sought a detailed probe into the alleged misuse of S.O.P. and DDO powers.
AJKS also cited a CAG-reported annual loss of around ₹7 crore, questioned the alleged expansion to 30 additional buses, and raised concerns over delayed payments to tribal APST vendors.
The organisation has further demanded a serious review of the losses allegedly incurred through the e-ticketing system operated under private partnerships.

ASTBAC Clarifies Leadership Position Amid HPC Process

The Arunachal ST Bachao Andolan Committee (ASTBAC), during an extraordinary general meeting in Itanagar on September 3, resolved that no resignation of any executive member will be accepted until the ongoing High Power Committee (HPC) process on APST certificate re-verification is completed.

The committee also reaffirmed Taw Paul as Caretaker Chairman and issued guidelines on transparency, accountability and media statements during the HPC proceedings.
