Life is a journey filled with lessons and experiences. Today, I want to share a valuable life tip that has helped me grow.
“Improve your googling quality”
As you are already aware of the fact that around 95% of things you can find on Google. So, Googling quality plays a very important role in your research skill.
Multiple times I saw people asking silly questions to others, their team leads, mentors, etc. They are not aware that actually, you are wasting the time of yours and others.
It's bitter but it's true. Asking questions is one of the best quality but you should be aware of what you are going to ask or the value of your questions.
Many times my colleagues ask silly questions that can be easily found on Google. Instead of finding the solution to that problem on their own first they just come and ask for the same.
Due to this, the impression of them in front of others is getting down, it also shows your problem-solving ability.
Earlier I was also making the same mistake when my mentor explain this point and my mind was blown away after realizing that, yes, solutions to these are just one button away from me and I haven’t even tried to find the solution.
So, Whenever you are stuck somewhere, What you have to do is “just go and type” on Google. You will get the answer to your question. If not, then obviously people are here to help you.
Once you will improve your googling quality, you will see that you are improving your problem-solving skill, and also see yourself growing in your field.
And when it comes to asking questions, then you will be asking some logical questions that genuinely Google doesn’t have the answer to but your mentor/colleague/senior…. has.
