Rice, onion, milk, curd, ginger, coffee....these are not supermarket list. Brands that claim to use in shampoos for your hair growth. 55 such products are mentioned in the pic.
Earlier, they used to show reetha, amla, hibiscus only. People purchased them thinking to be natural. As the competition increased, they started using rice water, onion, ginger etc. Most of them have no evidence to prove any claimed benefits. People are paying more for such things, shampoo sales are increasing.
But hair is not growing. Many don't have hair till the time of marriage. Irrespective of what's shown in the advertisements, all shampoos use similar chemicals.

Only color, scent, bottle shape are different.
The reetha, shikakai shampoo also uses the same chemicals besides little reetha, shikakai.
Actually visible hair is already dead. Applying almonds, aloe vera, shampoos don't help it.
They use very little amount of the shown products. Example, 1 almond or 1 amla in a shampoo bottle. That's too less to have any impact. Even if they use large quantity, it cannot reach hair follicles, where new hair starts.
In fact, chemicals, preservatives, perfumes, colors in shampoos cause more damage than help.
Most people don't need anything other than reetha / shikakai & coconut oil. These are completely free of chemicals. Eat healthy food but don't feed your hair with things like almonds, egg.
