Sri Bhashu Boro, a youth from Tangla in Udalguri District, Assam, has brought laurels to the state by representing Assam as a Delegate at the National Pragati Dialogue, held from 21st to 23rd August, 2026 at Dibrugarh University.
Son of Sri Rabindra Boro, Sri Bhashu Boro is currently pursuing his B.A. LL.B. (5th Semester) at J.B. Law College, Guwahati.
Through his active participation and valuable contributions at the dialogue, he has been selected as a Co-author for the National Youth Statement on BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa), an initiative led by the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI).
Apart from his academic and youth leadership pursuits, Sri Bhashu Boro is also a model and was recently crowned Mr. BTC 2026. He is a cultured youth who proudly represents the identity of the Bodo community as a model.
His remarkable achievement marks a significant milestone and inspiration for the youth of Assam and the entire Bodo community on a national platform.
