Even after visiting big brand’s showrooms, I couldn’t find the , and even when I found the quality the prices were rocketing.

Learnings of business 😇

We are glad to receive students from ENC College, France for an industry internship to learn about business with a handicraft company.

There were many learning for the students to learn the different processes in a business, from researching client markets, their needs and how can they contribute their learnings to the Company.

We briefed the students about the workflow of our company as “ we provide hand embroidery services to the business clients all around the world “.

Students started approaching it to the newer markets and many businesses who want hand embroidery fot their apparel or decor needs.

We have worked to build the bridge for the right people for the business.

Good news is, many international clients have lined up meetings with us via Skype and Zoom to better understand about the value of hand embroidery we provide by the artisans.

After the , many lost their regular jobs and mostly the daily wagers.

, Zeeshan Ahmed was in touch with the hand embroidered artisans as he was former faculty in a college where used to get .

Artisans was graduated but, no jobs for them, no better as promised by the college, but they were able to meet daily somehow.

Some of them were very close to me, and requested many times that some ways can open an opportunity where there skills will be valued.

After long thought, Mr.Zeeshan founded a of artisans, under one single body in which known as Craft Artisans of India.

Our main target was to provide them with skilled work for which they have been trained in their .

Since then we have been working with the to provide direct work to the artisans leaving all the mediator profits and with direct artisans.

Fortunately we have been working with in hand since then and providing work many artisans in as well as urban areas.

All this could’ve been possible with the help of people who us in difficult times.

Do you know how Chikankari bel looks like ?

Traditional textiles are interesting in a way how different ways it has covered different design aspects.

Design uses borders to enhance the look of the artwork, and Chikankari involves bel as border with different flower motifs.

Bels can be of different thicknesses like 1 Inch, 2.5”, 3”, 4” and some are 5”.
