Story 24 of
I love editing photos even from the time when I was not aware of the term. I had no idea about photoshop or any high-end photo editing tool. At that time, I used PowerPoint for multiple layer editing and exported the slides as images. Being passionate about that, I always wanted to learn more. But, unfortunately, I neither had an internet connection nor any other source of information. One day my school organized a photo editing competition. When I was informed about it, I immediately applied for that. But, since I didn't know photoshop, I was not allowed for the competition. Having no idea about the tool, I started asking my friends but as expected... Everyone treated me like a backward outdated fellow. The sad part was that I wanted to gain knowledge but, I wasn't given the right. I felt the same thing that Karna felt when he was rejected by Dronacharya just because he is not a Kshatriya. However, he tried his best and became the toughest competitor of Arjuna. Today, I have photoshop and I am pretty good at photo editing. People appreciate my work. But, sometimes whenever I turn back to those incidents from my childhood, I just smile and say "Thanks" because that's what lit my soul and prepared me for the future.

Story 23 of

My college was over and I was on the way to home. I took a bus and informed my mom that my classes are over. Suddenly, I noticed a guy who entered the bus. He was wearing a saree and was acting like a girl. I was a part of society where a kid grows up hearing "stay away from that type of people", "dont talk to them", "pretend like you didn't saw them". That guy was placing his hand on everyone's head like he is blessing. People were giving him money in return. A man disrespected the guy and refused to give money. The crossdressed guy immediately sat on his lap and the man was ashamed out of embarrasment. Later he stood and said "Jo bolna hai ankh me dekhke bolna". Whatever happened in the bus, made me scared and forced me to think because the guy was coming closer to me. I started questioning myself why he misbehaved with the man and how can I avoid that. Did he misbehaved because the man didn't gave money? Or because the man disrespected him. Suddenly, someone tapped on my shoulder. It was the same crossdresser. I looked into his eyes, gave a mild smile and said "sorry". I wanted to say that I don't have enough money to give him and reach home safely with the same; But, somehow he understood. He nodded his head like its ok and walked ahead. That day I understood that the most precious thing in the world is respect. Everyone deserves respect and we should respect everyone irrespective of the gender.

Story 22 of This was a silly incident which happened to me when I was a kid. The top of my head was aching and Initially, I thought maybe it will be okay in a couple of days. But, it didn't! The pain kept increasing and I was afraid to tell my parents about it. The most funny part was that I started believing that I have Brain tumour.... And the reason was the internet. When I searched on the internet, it showed Brain tumour as the reason for severe headache. I was really distressed and didn't had the courage to tell my parents about that. I was going through youtube, searching for how brain tumor surgery takes place, what are the pre-surgery requirements and the post-surgery side effects. The pain was unbearable and I was unable to tolerate it. There was a time when I thought maybe I'll die and there's no other way. One day, I cried to mom and talked to her about the pain. She was very worried. She immediately informed Dad about that. On the same day, we visited a doctor... And guess what! Doctor laughed at me and Said the pain was due to sinus problems. Nothing serious, it will be cured by medicines. I felt like, I just touched death and took a U turn. As doctor prescribed, I took the medicine and the pain was gone. That day, I realized how much we are afraid of problems. We just try to ran away from our problems. We know, but we dont accept that every problem always has a solution. The actual fault is that we assume the problem as big and cant be solved, due to which we panic and loose hope.

Story 21 of
When I was in 8th standard during Ganesh chaturthi in my colony they celebrated it very grandly on a large scale. When they announced that there was dance competition taking place for children, I was so excited to participate I dressed in my ghagra choli and performed on stage, as soon as I was on the stage nervousness succumbed me and I was so tense that I was dancing where in my small heels and in the middle of the day dance performance the heel broke and flew towards uncle who was sitting in the audience in the front row. I rushed to my home as soon as I completed my performance and let my parents know about it they said it was ok and to let it go it was hard to act as if nothing happened but I sat on the sofa chilling I want you my favourite serial of the time Jodha Akbar on Zee TV and the bell rang. The person standing near the door asked me to rush towards the stage because I was the winner of the competition, I chuckled and send 'aapko Shayad galat pata mil Gaya hai' it's impossible that I won the competition I said the person answered me that he was right and ran to the venue, I see the same uncle to whom my hell hit standing on the stage and calling my name out. He said that even though I messed it up in between I didn't stop and continued with the performance which is a great sign of a performer. He even added that we should never ever give up in the middle of achieving something. I smiled to his kindful words and receive the gift which was huge colouring combat I was so happy and rushed
home and show it to my parents. But uncle without knowing taught me a lesson from my actions that one should never let go of their doing just go with the flow of your plan and keep working hard for it.

Story 20 of

I remember it was the first of September when I started off on my solo trip to Himachal Pradesh. There was nothing extravagant about it because my budget was not very strong. All the local places I visited were literally pricey and had no proper food. I hardly made up money for hotel rooms and travel purchases. I felt so stupid to start off on a solo trip without lots of cash I was just 21 back then and I guess I was so immature.

Why did the solar trip with my own pocket money and after 5 days surviving in Palampur I was mesmerized by the tea gardens and the forest the, waterfalls and the pathways and I decided to stay in a cottage near by but the rent was to high that I decided just to pull a night out. That's so happened a pretty old lady spotted me and started blabbering something I didn't understand I guess you speaking in her native language then after 2 to 3 minutes of difficulty understanding her she finally dragged me and asked me to help her out by carrying some trunks out of a room and place them outside where she had a small tea cafe. I did as she asked me to do, surprised she walked towards me and gave me some local biscuits and asked me to sit after a while her son arrived home and it was easier for me to understand what exactly she meant as her son knows how to speak Hindi. He told me that his mum wants to cook her speciality for me because I was generous enough to help the old lady. I was literally moved by her words. They even asked me where I am spending my night. I hesitantly said 'ek hotel hai pass mein' to which he answered that there are no hotels nearby, he caught my lie.

They asked me to stay with them for one night and enjoy the dinner and rest. I was over the moon cause I was not ready to pull a night out. After this incident I strongly believe that when you help someone without any intention you end up landing on a situation where you get in return somehow when you are in a desperate need for it. I am so glad it did work for me.
