Your fake swag won’t take you anywhere.

Have you ever looked at an ad and thought... how did they come up with that?

The truth is — the best ads are not born from a flash of genius.

They are built step by step, behind the scenes.

When I first started running ads, I used to guess.

I would write what I thought sounded good.

Most of those ads failed.

Why? Because I was not listening to the customer.

Now I follow a system.

It is simple, repeatable, and it works.

Here is the exact process I use to create ads that win:

→ Step 1: Research.
Read customer reviews, comments, and feedback.
Pay attention to the exact words they use to describe their pain and desire.

→ Step 2: Write headlines.
Do not stop at one.
Write 10–15 rough versions.
Focus on pain, dreams, and proof.
Cut until only the strongest ones survive.

→ Step 3: Build the ad.
Pair your copy with a visual that stops the scroll.
Keep the design simple so the message stands out.

→ Step 4: Launch and test.
Never fall in love with your first draft.
Track clicks, leads, and conversions daily.
Kill the weak ads fast.
Scale the winners with confidence.

But here is the key:

There are no fixed rules for winning ads.
No matter how clever your words are, the customer always decides.
Your job is to listen, test, and learn.

That is how you find the ads that actually work.

I would pick one conversion goal, one audience, and one ad that speaks directly to them.

Small budgets win through focus and fast adjustments, not by trying to be everywhere.

I can spot a broken Meta ad account in 5 minutes.

No fancy tools.

Just 5 things I check every single time:

→ 1. Campaign Structure
Is it organised by funnel stage or a mess of duplicated ad sets?
If the structure is wrong, nothing else works.

→ 2. Creatives
I look at the first 3 seconds of the ad.
Is it thumb-stopping?
Most brands lead with boring headlines.
I look for pain, desire, difficulties, wants, proof, or a bold hook.

→ 3. Targeting
Are we sending the right message to the right people?
You can’t run the same ad to cold traffic and warm leads.
Personalisation matters.
So does intent.

→ 4. Funnel Flow
I walk through the entire journey.
From ad → landing page → follow-up.
If there’s confusion or friction, it kills conversions.

→ 5. Tracking & Data
Is anything actually being measured?
Are we tracking leads, calls, or just clicks?
If the pixel is broken, you’re flying blind.

That’s it.

The Harsh Truth About Ads That Don’t Convert

I reviewed an ad account last week that had spent ₹1.2L in 30 days.

Zero calls.
Zero sales.
Zero ROI.

The coach thought the ad copy was the problem.

It wasn’t.

Here’s the harsh truth:
→ The targeting was wide open.
→ The funnel was broken.
→ There was no follow-up.

Worse?

He didn’t even have a lead magnet.

Just a cold “Book a Call” button dumped onto a landing page.

When I asked who he was trying to reach, he said:

My $100K Lesson in Business: It's Not Just About What You Sell 🌟

Let me take you back to 2019.

I had just launched what I thought was the "perfect" service - a game-changing DFY solution that I was convinced would revolutionize the market.

I had poured my heart, savings, and countless sleepless nights into developing this "miracle" service.

The result? Crickets. 🦗

Why?

I made a classic entrepreneur mistake: I believed that a great product would sell itself.

Harsh Truth: A great product without great marketing is like a bestselling book hidden in a dark library.

No one knows it exists.

🔍 What I Learned?
- Marketing isn't about screaming the loudest
- It's about telling a story that resonates
- It's about connecting your solution to real people's real problems

I've since learned that successful businesses are built on two non-negotiable foundations:

1. A Product That Actually Solves Problems:- Your product must be more than just "cool" - it needs to genuinely improve someone's life or business.

2. Marketing That Builds Genuine Connections:- Not manipulative tactics, but authentic storytelling that shows the real value you bring.

My journey taught me that:
- If you have a great product but poor marketing, you'll struggle to scale

I live a simple life.
I don’t follow the hustle culture.
I hate unnecessary drama.
I compare myself sometimes.
I don't chase after a picture-perfect routine.
I struggle to switch off sometimes.
I could push myself harder.
I don’t feel the need to travel to exotic places.
I don't always subscribe to the "5 AM club" hype.
I don’t have systems for everything.
I exercise only when I can.
I make sure to keep my hygiene in check.
I actually do everything myself.
I wouldn’t call myself an entrepreneur.
I barely read 3 books per year.
I don’t care if I’m ‘falling behind’ on AI tools and trends.
I am not happy every single day.
I have never been a fan of chasing the next big thing.
I don’t understand why everyone is obsessed with productivity hacks.
I have days where I don’t get much done.
I consume too much content sometimes.
I don't follow extreme diets or routines.
I often get less than 7 hours of sleep.
I lay in past 8 AM sometimes.
I drink coffee past 8 PM.

According to the rules of 99% of productivity and self-improvement content, I’m doing everything wrong. I am an absolute f**k up.

Yet, I’m living a good and happy life. And I'm grateful for myself. it's all ok for me.

Social media is full of noise—focus on what works for you.

That’s all that really matters.
