Experience the energy, passion, and competitive spirit of Kurukshetra 2026, the grand inter-university sports fest of South Odisha, hosted by NIST University from 26th February to 2nd March 2026. Bringing together top institutions the event witnessed thrilling competitions across cricket, football, volleyball, kabaddi, badminton, basketball, table tennis, kho-kho, and more. The fest was inaugurated by Prof. Priyadarsan Patra, our VC, emphasizing the importance of balancing academics with sports. The week-long celebration highlighted exceptional talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship, with students giving their best in every game. The valedictory ceremony was graced by DrSukant K. Mohapatra, Hon’ble President of NIST University, along with Dr. P. Rajesh Kumar and Dr. Preeti R. Sahu, who congratulated the winners and encouraged students to excel both on and off the field.

From intense matches to memorable moments, Kurukshetra 2026 truly showcased the spirit of unity, discipline, and leadership through sports.
