Never underestimate a deer who's looking at a distance concously.🦌

We saw this guy from a far in the deeper part of the jungle. 🌳🌳🦌🌳🌳🌳🚙And he was grazing peacefully, after sometime he got a Call from somewhere in the jungle from other dear and other animals...the monkeys were also alerting their fellow to be safe.🫂

We couldn't see much from the distance as we were on the drive way and this Deer was standing around 500-600 ft📏 from us.

And there were trees🌳🌵 and grass in our line of sight.
Then after some time the deer started to run the🦌💨 opposite way and just I some moments we say 2🐅🐅 young Tigers, looking for their prey...🦌

Great moment witnessed 😎

This is also one of my most liked photo from the bunch.📸

As we were in the Canter, 🚎for the afternoon Safari, nearly at the last hour of our safari.
We saw this Bara Singha grazing, maybe High Tea snacks.😉🤭😅
As the sun was setting🌅 he was grazing in the right spot, a pocket of light had formed where he was standing, and rest of the frame was darker than the subject, kinda creates natural silhouette.👀😆

On the fifth day it was our 10th and last Safari for the Day, it wasn't booked🗓 or planned beforehand, after our early morning safari.🌞

I felt we are still short on😔 content, so I asked the company to book one more safari for the afternoon.

Now as we had booked the safari permit for afternoon spontaneously, a Canter-🚎 (Open bus) was allotted to me, because of Canter’s Body height, every photos📸 I took that day, I could shoot from a higher angle.

As we were wandering through the jungle🌳🌳, we saw a a huge tree in the middle of around an acre of plain land near a small lake in the forest, there we waited for some time for the shoot session. 💃📷

There were more than 100🐵🐒🦍🦧 moneys running, jumping, and playing.
At the top of the tree we saw a small family🐒 of monkeys sitting and chilling.

As I was moving inside the Canter for a better angle, these guys saw me moving, and looked at me, I had one moment to shoot my shot and take photo.

This is a Jackle.

It seems he likes taking photos… He's even ready with a pose.

We just entered the National Park gate, and after about 1 km, we saw this guy pacing towards us, with its dead prey in mouth …
as he saw our Jeep🚙, I stood up for a Better angle, and as he saw me move, he stopped, and I took the shot-📸 photograph. 👀

And with him, he had a friend🧑‍🤝‍🧑, but I moved quickly he ran away,… I guess it needs to find a better friend who doesn't leave in such times.😅😂

I really wish Vijay Mally would come back clean with his airline and fraud issue.💵💸 I loved the brand that he created.
In fact, I've travelled through his flights✈️ over 27 times when I was a kid.

Whenever I see a Kingfisher Bird🦜, I remember a mini plane replica I used to receive as a farewell gift by the flight crew. 🛩

🐦🕊Birds are one of the hardest creatures to photograph 📸

🐒Animals at a point while eating or 😴 sleeping or doing lousy stuff stay still enough to be captured.
But birds are constantly moving and flying and are hasty in their movements, which makes it very unpredictable to take a photo ⏰️

But luckily this little guy was sitting on a branch of a tree 🌳and as its colors are very striking , it stands out in the image very prominently, I didn't need to create a lot of contrast or apply sharpness, just a little bit was enough.💻

I really wish to take this photo again in coming shoot opportunities, but at a very early time.

As you can see this photo is shot in a pretty bright daylight time and I wanted the deer to go in the pocket of Light so I could a add a vignette to guide the eyes towards the 2 deer .

The timing for the photos I shot there taught me to have patience like hell.
Because you may see an animal doing nothing for over 2 hours and the moment you look away you miss an opportunity.
I've missed many such opportunities and it makes me very angry 😠 😡....

A big lesson to learn from nature 😂👀

As I said in the earlier posts, I was there in the month of December.

On a chill winter morning at 7:02 AM I took this shot📸, I was still sleepy as I was editing some photos and backing up the💾 Data from the previous day.
I was up till 3AM & bearly saw this Deer🦌 in the morning fog, because he was far from our Jeep, that's📷 why I've shot it at 300mm, on a tamron 100-400mm lens.

Luckily the jeep 🚙didn't make much sound while moving, otherwise the animals would leave the scene and I won't be able to get the shot.
I saw something moving on a distance, so I put the eye over the EVF and saw this guy grazing in morning, ( Morning Breakfast )🥐🥞 maybe. And just after the moment I shot this image he got a Call from some deer in the deeper part of the jungle and it ran of.

I was worried that the shot might be out of focus, but the Animal Auto focus held up well on the sony a7r4. And rhe result- this image, it's a Poster worthy image actually.

I love how the fog has a a gradient from top to bottom gives it a dreamy look.
