Do you know the “WHY” behind your brand? That’s your biggest competitive advantage.

Because honestly, products can be copied.
Services can be replicated. Strategies can be studied.

But the reason behind why you built something? That’s what people emotionally connect with.

And that’s what makes brands memorable.

A lot of businesses today know:

* what they sell
* how they sell
* where they sell

But very few can clearly explain why their brand exists in the first place. And consumers can feel that disconnect immediately.

The strongest brands are never built only on functionality.

They are built on belief systems.

✔️On perspective
✔️On purpose
✔️On emotion
✔️On identity

People don’t just buy into brands anymore.
They buy into what the brand stands for.

That’s why some businesses create loyal communities while others keep fighting for attention.

Because when your “why” is clear, your communication becomes clearer too.

-Your storytelling improves.
-Your positioning feels stronger.
-Your audience connection becomes deeper.

And most importantly, your brand starts feeling human instead of transactional.

Your “why” is what makes people remember you.

What is your “WHY”?

Your content strategy is making or breaking your brand (and most are getting it wrong)

You have done this done that, okay!
But frankly no one cares…

Wakey wakey, it’s not 2023 anymore… now is it?

So, let’s SSSSTOOOPP with the “3 tips to grow”

Now hear me out, these tips worked in 2020 or 2023, but it won’t work now

So what works in 2026 you ask?

-Sharing your opinion, your PoVs
-Sharing your experience
-What you feel about a particular topic
-How your regular day looks like
-The you, the REAL you
-Getting creative
-Writing like a 12 year old

Avoid unnecessary drama, keep it simple, keep it real

Even I was so consumed by ensuring everything looks to the T, looked all organised, and I realised people are loosing interest

When I started being myself, who I am, people started connecting

That’s the goal after all!

I will never do these 3 things if I was starting on social media today (these need to stop, like seriously)

1. Force myself to post every single day
2. Hop on every trend just because it’s trending
3. Try to sound “professional” instead of sounding like myself

Oh gosh, like literally, I have been hearing this so much from so many people. Whenever someone comes and speaks to me and tells me:

“Hey, I really need to grow my social media, but I do not have time to post every day, so how will I grow?”

And my answer is simple.

Then do not post every day if you do not have time.

It’s honestly as simple as that. Be it any social media platform is not about posting daily. It’s about posting consistently.

And personally, I believe something is always better than nothing.

Posting once or twice a week consistently is far more powerful than disappearing for 2 months because you you didn’t have time (as life happens and trust me it’s okay)

The second thing I hear all the time is:
“I’m gonna do this because it’s trending right now.”

Great. It’s trending. And yes, trends can work. But is it even relevant to you? Does it align with your personality, your industry, or your audience?

The third thing? Trying too hard to sound professional. I think this has stopped so many smart people from posting online.

People suddenly change the way they speak, write, and express themselves the moment LinkedIn opens.

Alert!!! This is not needed - like seriously stop… But the content people connect with the most is usually the one that sounds like a regular conversation.

That’s literally what makes a brand memorable.

Not sure what to post next?

You probably don’t need more content ideas.

You just need a system.

A lot of people struggle with consistency because every day you’re asking:

What should I post today?
That gets exhausting very quickly.

Instead, here’s what I do, I simply create 3–4 content pillars and rotate between them.

That’s it.

For example, your content can be divided into:

- Personal POVs
Your observations, experiences, unpopular opinions, lessons, founder moments, things you notice in business or life.

- Expert Opinion
Your industry insights, strategies, breakdowns, trends, mistakes brands make, things people misunderstand in your field.

- Selling
Case studies, client transformations, your offers, how you work, behind-the-scenes, results, launches.

And honestly?

The easiest way to create content is to stop thinking like a creator and start thinking like a normal person having conversations with your BFF!

Some of the best content ideas come from:
- random thoughts during meetings
- conversations with clients
- things that annoyed you
- stories from your own journey

That’s what makes content feel relevant.
Not trying to sound “LinkedIn perfect.”

Once you have pillars, content becomes much easier as you have a system in place!

You’re no longer guessing what to post.
You have a structure working for you.

Fix this today!!!

I just hate it when people do this and than blame that things aren’t working…

I hate it when people use AI the wrong way or expect us to use…

I’m not anti-AI. I love AI. It definitely helps me with my tasks.

But I disagree when people use it to do all the creative thinking.

If everyone starts relying on AI for creativity, everything starts looking the same.

The ideas feel repetitive, the content feels similar, and honestly, it’s getting boring.

We’re slowly stopping ourselves from using our own brains and creativity because we’re always looking for the easier route.

We need to use AI for the mundane, repetitive tasks.

For example:

-Use ChatGPT to build systems, organize workflows, and help with admin-related work.

-Use Perplexity to research faster and save hours of digging through information.

But as creators, marketers, and founders — the creativity should still be yours.

The ideas should come from your brain, not AI’s.

That’s where the humanization comes from.
That’s where the personal touch comes from.

Because marketing is built on emotions and feelings — and AI doesn’t feel.

Humans do.

Most consumers don’t buy products. They buy the version of themselves your brand represents….

That’s why two brands can sell almost the same thing… and still attract completely different people.

Because consumers are rarely just buying functionality anymore.

They’re buying:
- identity
- lifestyle
- status
- emotion
- belonging

A luxury hotel isn’t selling a room.

It’s selling how you feel walking into it.

A premium café isn’t selling coffee.

It’s selling culture, aesthetics, and experience.

The strongest brands understand this deeply.

They don’t just market products.

They market a feeling people want to associate themselves with.

Share this with a founder you know, who needs to know this!

3 emotions that drive most sales (and none of them are what you think)

The best-performing content online is rarely the most informative.

It’s the most emotionally intelligent.

Because consumers don’t stop scrolling for content.

They stop for feelings.

Over the years, I’ve noticed that 3 emotions consistently influence both attention and buying decisions:

1. Recognition

People engage with brands that make them feel understood.

The moment a customer thinks:
“that’s exactly me”
—you’ve already won them.

2. Aspiration
Consumers don’t just buy products.
They buy identity upgrades.

Luxury brands mastered this years ago.

People buy:
- status
- transformation
- belonging
- confidence
- perception

The product is often secondary.
The feeling attached to it isn’t.

3. Trust
Attention can create curiosity.
But trust creates conversion.

And trust is built through:
- consistency
- emotional clarity
- positioning
- social proof
- brand behaviour over time

This is why some brands can post less and still sell more.

Marketing is no longer just about visibility.
It’s about emotional precision.

The brands that understand human behaviour will always outperform the brands only chasing algorithms.

Agree?

Not seeing any results in your PR campaigns? This is what you might be doing wrong…

Let’s get this straight first,

PR is not meant for direct sales.

It has always been about building your reputation, telling your story, and shaping how people perceive your brand.

And yes, even influencer collabs can work.

But only when they are done right.

It is not about just getting featured.
It is not about just doing a collab.

It is about getting the right feature and the right collab.

Because their audience must align with yours.

Their values must align with yours.

-Only then will people connect.
-Only then will it make sense.
-Only then will you see results.

Otherwise, it is just noise.
And money spent without direction.

Real PR is not about visibility alone.

It is about the RIGHT visibility.

You’re not struggling to grow on social media because your content is bad, you are struggling to because…

Your content is wrong!

Most founders are posting regularly…
Getting some likes…
Maybe even a few comments…

But no one really remembers them.

No recall = no inbound = no growth.

Because your content is not lacking effort.
It’s lacking identity.

If I were starting from zero, this is exactly what I would do:

✔️I would lock in 3 content pillars that directly tie to my business, not random “value” posts.

✔️I would define a sharp point of view.

✔️And I would create repeatable content formats.

That’s how you move from “posting” to “being known.”

Because growth on social media is not about visibility.

It’s about memorability.

And most people are completely ignoring that.

Five things that your brand strategy or brand document should not miss, which can eventually cost you deals.

Do not skip on this one.

Most businesses jump into marketing without fixing the foundation.

Your brand document is what makes your marketing clear, consistent, and effective.

It should include:

-Your brand mission and vision
What you stand for and where you’re going

-Your communication and tone of voice
How your brand sounds and connects

-Your visual identity
Logo, colours, design language, overall look

-Your website messaging
What you say and how clearly you say it

-Your customer persona and target audience
Who you are speaking to and trying to attract

If you are not clear on these, your marketing will feel scattered and forgettable.

Before you post, run ads, or even create a page…

Get this right.

Clarity builds trust. Confusion costs deals.

Share it with someone who needs it!

The worst marketing mistakes are not the ones you know you are making.

They are the ones quietly costing you sales while you think your strategy is “fine.”

You are posting consistently…
But saying nothing memorable.

You are trying to speak to everyone…
And connecting with no one.

You are chasing every trend…
But have no clear message.

You are spending hours creating content…
But never asking what your audience actually wants to see.

You are focused on looking busy…
Instead of doing what brings results.

The biggest mistake?

Thinking more content = better marketing.

It doesn’t.

Better marketing is:
• saying one thing clearly
• repeating it consistently
• understanding your audience deeply
• creating content with a purpose, not just because “you have to post”

Because the brands that grow are not the ones doing the most.

They are the ones doing the right things, again and again.

Be honest:

Which of these mistakes are you making right now?
