Many college graduates think LinkedIn is something they can start using after they get a job. That is one of the biggest mistakes I see students make.

LinkedIn is not a job application platform. It is a career building platform. If students start using LinkedIn during college itself, they can build their network, learn from industry professionals, showcase their skills, and create opportunities even before graduation.

A student who uses LinkedIn for 3 years during college will always have an advantage over a student who creates a LinkedIn account after graduation and starts from zero.

Recently, I had the opportunity to conduct a LinkedIn workshop at Govt. Victoria College, Palakkad. What made me really happy was not just the session, but a video testimonial shared by one of the attendees after the workshop. Seeing students understand the importance of LinkedIn at the right time is always very satisfying.
