The Jal Pakhwada fortnightly awareness program is being celebrated in the school which was initiated by Ministry of water resources and in collaboration with the Education department Govt.of India to spread mass awareness among the students and as a whole.It has been started from 16th April which is to be concluded on 30th April.During the celebration,we are successfully organising Painting,Essay writing and slogan writing today.All the students took part actively with great zeal and enthusiasm.

On the auspicious occasion of World Earth day, a special morning assembly was conducted by the DIET trainees in order to make the students aware about the Value of Earth and its importance with the theme "Our Power,Our Planet".Ms Poona Rai a DIET trainees took the pledge to save the Earth followed by brief speech from Mr Sunil Hang Limboo regarding Earth a precious planet.In the later noon Seven and Eight period,cleanliness drive in around the school premises was conducted with the active participation of trainees,school Teaching and Non Teaching staff and the students.To mark the day more meaningful,Essay writing competition was also been conducted where Class Eight, Nine and Ten students were participated in the guidance of Ms Poonam Rai and some of the teachers of the school.Ms Bipana Rai GTM,Mr Suk Hang Limboo GTA and Mr B M Limboo GTA were given the responsibility of judging the Essay writing paper.
