Happy Doctor's Day to all the warriors. A big salute. ❤️🙏

We should not start this year without thanking the emergency workers, the doctors, nurses, polices. We sincerely hope they get what they deserve in these coming days. We hope the vaccination goes well.

This is a tribute to all of these heroes of this society, who have selflessly served us with the security that we have now.
Thanks to you, we are safe. ❤️

The Rainbow Frame Chapter 1.
15th June 2019.
It was a day of success. It was a day of struggle. It was a day of love. It was a day of pride.

It's been one year since we are in this pandemic. We are frustrated, we are sad almost every day. But on this particular day each and every member of our team becomes nostalgic, desperate to walk again with pride, with love, with colours.

We were able to make TRF a success and it wouldn't have been possible without all the support of our fellow pages community, Obhishek Kar Bidisha Mohanta coming and walking with us, Kolkata Police lending us a very strong supporting hand, managing the Pride photowalk of 130+ people and busy Kolkata traffic. We are truly grateful. Special thanks to Calcutta Times for covering the event and publishing it.

Kolkata's first Pride Photowalk "THE RAINBOW FRAME" ❤️🌈 will come back stronger and bigger.

And as they say, 'Homophobia has a cure ; EDUCATION'

The situation is hard. Our country is still fighting. Each and everyday we are getting bad news. We are frustrated about everything. We are asked to be mentally strong and happy, but can we really do that? It's not that easy.
But, helping others, sharing pain with others might reduce the frustration. Have you tried it? Do give it a try.
Even if we cannot be happy about everything, let's share our pain with others.
This too shal pass.......

#জীবনমরণের_সীমানা_ছাড়ায়ে

শূন্যতায় ফিরে যাওয়া সার।
বসন্তের বৃথাই অপেক্ষা।
হৃদয়ের কোণে কোণে জমে থাকা ঐতিহাসিক ধুলো,
ঘরের কোণে টিকটিকির আস্কারা,
আর একমুঠো অবহেলা রোজ বলে যায়-
"সহজ কথা ঠিক ততটাও সহজ নয়।"

এখনও মেঘ জমে ওঠে
ভিক্টোরিয়া, রবীন্দ্র সরোবর, কফিহাউজের নামে।
একটু আলতো ছুঁলেই ঝরে পড়বে অঝোর ধারায়,
ক্লান্ত শার্ট ঘেমো শরীর এলিয়ে দেয়
অনেকদিন ইস্ত্রি না হওয়া এলোশাড়ির আঁচলে।
"মুখের কথা একলা হয়ে"
গলির কোণে পড়ে থাকাটাই রীতি কিনা!

মৃত্যুর মিছিল চলে। বিপ্লবের ততটা নয়।
"এ কলকাতার মধ্যে আছে আরেকটা কলকাতা"-
যেটা হেঁটে দেখার উপদেশ রয়ে গেল কালো কালিতেই।
অনেক দিনের ভাত-না-খাওয়া পেটকে
খুব সহজেই এফোঁড়-ওফোঁড় করে দেয় পুলিশি রাইফেল।
ভাতের আন্দোলনে গলা শুকিয়ে মরে যাওয়া মানুষগুলো-
সত্যিই 'মরে গেছে'।
পচা ড্রেনের গা গুলিয়ে ওঠা গন্ধ,
বস্তির উনুনে থ্যাঁতলানো তরিতরকারি ফোটার শব্দ,
তেলচিটে কাঁথা গায়ে জড়ানো অবাধ্য শীত
কঁকিয়ে ওঠে যন্ত্রণায়,
"বারুদ বুকে দিয়ে,
বিষের টোপর নিয়ে।"

শঙ্খ আসে। শঙ্খ মিশে যায় ক্ষুব্ধ সমুদ্রে।
সব শঙখের নিনাদ খোঁজা চলেনা।
