The Apatani Hall of Fame, established in 2021 and run by the Bhu Villager Multipurpose Co-operative Society, was created to maintain records of gazetted officers, National Level Awardees from the Apatani belt. The Hall of Fame displays photographs along with the designations of officers to preserve their achievements and maintain a documented record of their contributions.

Chairman Habung Nana stated that the initiative also aims to inspire younger generations to work towards becoming part of the Hall of Fame through dedication and academic achievement. According to him, only 563 individuals have been registered so far, representing nearly 30 percent of the total eligible individuals from the Apatani community

The OB team of Akashvani Ziro covered a two-day free eye care camp held at the Apatani Youth Association (AYA) office in Old Ziro.

The camp was organized by the Apatani Youth Association in collaboration with Maa Eyes Foundation with the objective of providing quality eye care services to the people of Ziro Valley, especially senior citizens, economically weaker sections, and those unable to visit hospitals for treatment.

During the two-day camp, beneficiaries received free eye examinations, spectacles, and consultations from eye care specialists. Patients diagnosed with serious eye conditions requiring surgical intervention were also offered free surgery and treatment facilities.

The initiative aimed to spread care, compassion, and accessible healthcare among the community, ensuring that quality eye care reaches those who need it the most.

Kago Tanu, owner of KT Marketing, was featured in a women empowerment interview programme where she shared her inspiring entrepreneurial journey, challenges, and achievements.

During the interaction, she spoke about the importance of women empowerment and youth entrepreneurship, emphasizing how self-reliance and business initiatives can create employment opportunities for the younger generation. She also highlighted the positive impact of the Arunachal Pradesh Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy (APIIP) Entrepreneurship Development Programme in supporting aspiring entrepreneurs across the state.

Sharing her experience at the Bharat Entrepreneur Summit held in New Delhi, Kago Tanu said the event provided valuable exposure, networking opportunities, and motivation to expand her business vision.

She encouraged youths to take up self-employment and entrepreneurship as a career path instead of depending solely on government jobs. She also shared her future plans to expand KT Marketing and continue contributing to local economic growth through innovative business ventures.
