Today at around 12:00am four teenagers belonging to the Rongmei Naga community were stopped by Namdilong Village volunteers on the highway . Upon inquiry we came to know that they were working in Imphal and had gone out driving to celebrate the birthday of one of the boys, They were all from the Nungba areas

It was fortunate for them that the volunteers had set up a check post. We humbly appeal to all Nagas residing in Imphal to advise your family members and friends not to venture out onto the highways during these critical times.

Had the Naga volunteers not been there, they would have crossed into Motbung , which is hardly a kilometer away from where we had set up the check post.

The Naga Students’ Union Delhi (NSUD) calls upon all Naga students, youth, community organisations, church leaders, civil society members, and well-wishers to join the Peaceful Solidarity Protest on 6th June 2026 at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.

The protest is being organised to demand the safe and unconditional release of the six innocent Naga civilians who were recently abducted, and to express solidarity with all those affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis and deteriorating law and order situation in Manipur.
