The Colour of Ink premieres today and by a few strokes of incredible luck I'll get to be there.

A telling of the history of ink, the world's oldest medium, as constructed around the amazing work of and the international community of artists and collaborators Jason Logan shares his inks with. The film is about life and beauty but also stains, about the ways everything connects but must also first have a defined self, it is about seeking and seeing, the infinitesimal and the infinite, and about our human need for connection, among so many other important things.

To have gotten to be part of the telling of this story and to be in such remarkable company is something I'm immensely grateful for. There is so much poetry and care and heart and generosity in the community I found through the world of natural inks, not to mention the endlessly inspiring experience of interacting with the inks themselves.
