DENIS CELEBRATES THE MILANO-CORTINA OLYMPICS WITH THE "GIOCHI D’INVERNO" PIZZA 🍕🍕🍕
On the occasion of the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics, —the brand that has made "mountain crunchy pizza" its signature style and a staple in Milan with four locations in the Moscova, Porta Venezia, Navigli, and Ravizza districts—presents 'Giochi d’Inverno' (Winter Games). This special off-menu pizza is designed as a gastronomic tribute to the territories hosting the Olympic Games.
An authentic project, it bears the signature of Denis Lovatel, a pizza chef from Belluno with deep ties to the regions involved in the Games: the province of Belluno, home to his historic pizzeria Da Ezio, and Milan, the city where his entrepreneurial journey evolved with Denis Pizza di Montagna.
This dual bond—both geographical and emotional—guided the creation of a pizza designed to unite two different culinary traditions in a single dish. On one side is Milan, interpreted through two symbols of its gastronomic heritage: saffron risotto and gremolata sauce. On the other are Cortina and the Dolomites, represented through a reimagining of casunziei—the iconic dish of Ampezzo cuisine—featuring its hallmark ingredients: potatoes, beetroot, and poppy seeds.
The result is a pizza that is balanced, identity-driven, and contemporary.
