Over the past year, Zurich has become more than just a place we visit for design events. It has become a space for new connections, conversations and opportunities, and an important part of the direction in which we want to develop ILLECONCEPT.

Being in Zurich during Zurich Design Weeks gave us the chance to experience the city not only as visitors, but as designers looking for connections between different creative scenes, markets and perspectives.

We believe good design travels. And so do ideas, relationships and collaborations.

Good design deserves good conversations.

Spending time at Zurich Design Weeks gave us the opportunity to step outside our usual environment, see things from a different perspective and reconnect with what makes design so exciting. Curiosity, exchange and constant movement.

From exhibitions and installations to conversations with designers, studios and creatives from different backgrounds, Zurich once again reminded us how powerful a design community can be when ideas are shared openly.

For us, it was not just about seeing what is happening in Zurich. It was about bringing new references, thoughts and inspiration back with us and letting them become part of what we do.

We’re grateful for the conversations, the encounters and all the little moments in between.

Good design deserves to be celebrated.

After spending the past few days at Zagreb Design Week, seeing the work, meeting fellow creatives and experiencing the energy of the scene, we’re leaving with an even stronger belief in the potential of Croatian design.

Being there as finalists with Camping Planik and Digital Look was already a great experience. But seeing so many thoughtful, ambitious and internationally relevant projects in one place reminded us that the creative scene in Croatia has a lot to say, and that great ideas have no borders.

We’re proud to be part of this community and to see Croatian design standing confidently alongside work from around the world.

Most importantly, congratulations to all the colleagues and studios whose work was recognised with awards. Seeing great work being celebrated is a win for the entire design community.

Here’s to Croatian design, to sharing ideas, pushing each other forward and creating work that can travel far beyond our borders.

This week, we stepped in front of the camera at Holographik Photostudio with the incredibly talented IVANA DOBROVOLJEC | Photographer & Videographer capturing the ILLE team and the energy behind our work.

These portraits will become part of how we present ILLE in Zürich during Zurich Design Weeks where different perspectives, disciplines and approaches to design come together.

Coming from Croatia, we’re excited to connect with new creative minds, exchange ideas and explore new collaborations.

From identity to experience. From concept to recognition.

We’re incredibly proud to share that two of our projects have been selected as finalists at Zagreb Design Week 2026.

Both Camping Planik and Digital Look were built from the same belief that a brand should not exist only as a logo, but come to life through every detail, touchpoint and experience.

From wayfinding and environmental design to digital media, motion and everyday brand communication, these projects challenged us to create identities that are made to move, adapt and connect.

Being selected among the finalists is a great recognition of that work, and we’re truly proud to see these two projects take this step further.

A run built to move.

For the 2026 edition of Bibinje Summer Run, we wanted the visual identity to feel just like the race itself, fast, raw and full of energy.

Motion blur captures the pace. Bold typography pushes the message forward. Vivid gradients bring in the heat of summer. And the running line becomes a graphic element that ties it all together.

A visual system made to move.

With the strategy in place, we translated the idea into a visual language made to move.

Bold typography, dynamic colour transitions and a graphic system give Digital Look a distinctive presence across very different formats.
Digital displays, motion graphics, mobile interfaces, promotional materials and everyday brand communication all become part of the same ecosystem.

The system was designed to stay recognizable while adapting to new technologies, new formats and new markets.
A visual identity built not to stay still, but to keep up with the way people see and consume information today.

For Digital Look, the starting point was visibility.

Not just being seen, but understanding how a brand can create attention within a constantly moving media landscape.

Starting from Zadar, we developed the strategic foundation for a digital media brand built to grow beyond one city and one format.

Light, movement, information and technology became key references for the direction.
From there, the identity started to take shape.
And that is where the visual system comes in.

Some of the best ideas don’t happen behind a desk. They happen through conversations.

After spending a few days at Office LAB / Office LAB Conferencing in Zurich, we’re leaving with much more than just a few productive days.

A big thank you to Luca Cacciatore and Arben Aliu for the valuable input, ideas and conversations. It was a pleasure exchanging perspectives, sharing experiences and getting fresh insights from people with different backgrounds and ways of thinking.

What we particularly enjoyed about Office LAB / Office LAB Conferencing was the opportunity to meet and connect with so many interesting creatives, entrepreneurs and professionals. People we might not necessarily meet through our usual circles.

For us, that’s one of the most valuable things about being part of a creative community. The people around you, the conversations you have and the unexpected connections can often lead to ideas you wouldn’t have found on your own.

We’re already looking forward to coming back in September during Zurich Design Weeks

More conversations, more ideas, new connections and hopefully a few new collaborations along the way.
