Digital Marketing is a key revenue engine. Yet sometimes we treat digital and social media as mere promotions.
For a quality hotel (or any business), digital is no longer about posts, likes, or trends.
It’s about managing demand, ie creating visibility and trust, before pricing and sales negotiations begin.
When digital is weak:
• OTAs fill rooms at lower revenue
• Sales teams fight an uphill battle to confirm bookings
• Discounts become necessary
• Revenue becomes reactive
When digital is strong:
• Demand is predictable
• Pricing power improves
• High-margin segments are easier
Marketing leaders don’t ask “What should we post?”
They ask “Where are we losing demand, and how do we recover it through digital marketing?”
