Step aside Ichiran! There are many, many more ramen spots that are superior, this being one of them, located in Akihabara. You get two FREE noodle refills, so if you're used to ordering kaedama, this place is definitely for you. I ordered the spicy-miso tonkotsu ramen, and it did not disappoint in both flavor and spice. The tonkotsu broth is deep and rich, so if you're not into spice or any other special flavorings, then the plain tonkotsu is still worth getting. Plus, you don't have to wait in line for hours just to eat.

Donuts in Japan just hit different. Not too heavy, not sickeningly sweet, chewy, and comes in different flavors and textures. Watch out for promos or set discounts for multiple pieces. Unfortunately, the creme bru lee donut which is their signature, was out of stock when we dropped by.

Wasn't really getting the hype of Souffle pancakes......until this. Some feel too dense, some taste eggy, some are too gigantic that it feels like you're eating a week's worth of breakfast. This shop gets it though, very good balance. Reasonably priced too, unlike the instagrammy cafes that look cute and all but are expensive as heck. It seems quite popular though, so this should be the first item in your itinerary for the day of your visit - line up before opening time so that you don't end up burning too much time waiting for your turn.

Meat's great. Location is very convenient, as it's near the train station. We ordered different liver and offal cuts, their A5 platter, and beef tongue. The menu offering is good, food quality is good, value for money is okay.
