I had the honor of hosting a three-night Maker’s Dinner event, welcoming a distinguished sake brewer all the way from ,Yamagata prefecture in Japan 🇯🇵 . It turned out to be an absolutely wonderful experience, filled with heartfelt emotions and deep gratitude expressed by our guests. Although hosting three nights in a row was physically demanding, my heart is truly full and fulfilled.

I am deeply grateful to everyone who joined us and to the sake brewer who traveled from Japan to make this event so special.❤️

We are hosting a Maker’s Dinner from March 6th to 8th .kahala

I am organizing this special event, where we will welcome a sake brewery all the way from , Yamagata, Japan. 🇯🇵 This will be an exclusive experience for just 10 guests per night at the sushi counter.

The evening features a 10-course sushi menu with dessert, perfectly paired with five incredibly rare sakes. 🍶
All of this is offered at an unbelievably great value of $280—I’d love to attend myself!

On the night of the event, I will be hosting alongside the sake brewery representatives. Don’t miss this unique opportunity!

The Sake tasting event in Boston has officially started!
This time, we are promoting eight different sake labels from six breweries from Japan together with the team from Yamashiroya, a long-established retail company from my hometown, Kure Hiroshima. 🇯🇵🍶✨
Starting tomorrow, brewery staff will be joining us, making the weekend even livelier! 🎉
With our wonderful team of girls, we’ll continue to share the attractive of Sake with everyone in Boston!

Another successful year has come to an end. This marks my 11th year of participation. I was incredibly happy to see long-time regular customers from both Neighbor Islands and Honolulu, as well as new customers we met this year!

I am sincerely grateful to all the restaurants and retailers who attended, everyone at Cherry Company from Mutual trading and all the vendors who worked hard alongside us this year.

I visited to LA on business. I’m leaving for HNL.
As expected, the market here is vastly different from those in Hawaii and San Francisco, making this a very educational trip.

By changing locations just a little, I was able to see a different landscape of the sake market.
Hearing firsthand voices from the field and feeling the market's growth firsthand made it an experience where my past 11 years of efforts started connecting like dots forming lines.

I also had great opportunity to help with a "Nama Sake Event," where I was inspired by wine lovers and the wonderful saleswomen (my nephew's generation) from the distributors.
This became one of the most impressive experiences.
Coincidentally, I was also able to meet Mr. Inagawa from WAKAZE, who was promoting Sparkling Sake Summer Fall at the same venue. It was my first time seeing him in about ten years!
I am extremely grateful to all the distributors, clients, and sake breweries who supported me in every way, encouraging and waiting for me during the past year and a half when I couldn't move freely due to caring for my mom and my own illness. I am especially thankful to those breweries who have renewed their contracts with me for the 11th year. I also thank the gods of California, USA. 🇺🇸🇯🇵😊🙏

お店もリテイルも滞在中沢山訪問させて頂き、当たり前ですが、ハワイやサンフランシスコ市場とは大きく違い、学び多き旅となりました。

場所を少し変えるだけで、違った日本酒市場の景色が見え、
現場の生の声、肌で感じる市場の成長度、
過去11年の取り組みが答え合わせのように次々と点が線となる経験もありました。

“生酒イベント”のお手伝いもさせて頂き、ワイン愛好家の消費者とディストリビューターの素晴らしく美しい女性セールス陣(甥世代)からインスパイアされ、これがまた一番印象的な経験となりました。
たまたま同じ会場で、スパークリング酒Summer Fall のプロモーションに自らいらしていたWAKAZEの稲川社長にも約10年ぶりにお会い出来❗️
嬉しさと刺激と学びに満ち満ちた旅となりました。

何から何までサポート下さったディストリビューターの皆さま、クライアント、この1年半、母の介護や自分の病いであまり自由に動けなかった私をずっと励まし、待って下さり、改めて11年目も契約更新して下さった酒蔵さん、カリフォルニアの神様に感謝しかありません😊🙏
