Immerse yourself in nature and discover a completely different side of Okinawa! Join Kadena Outdoor Recreation (ODR) for a peaceful, scenic paddle through the island's unique mangrove forests. It is an amazing way to spot local wildlife, learn about the coastal ecosystem and enjoy a calm morning on the water.

Looking for the perfect space to host your next book club, community playgroup, or hobby meet-up? The Kadena Base Library Events Room is open for community bookings!

📋 Room Details & Amenities
👥 Capacity: Accommodates up to 38 people.
🪑 Furniture: Tables and chairs are provided and included with your reservation.

🚨 Reservation Rules & Guidelines
To keep this space available and fair for everyone, please keep the following guidelines in mind:
Age Requirement: Reservations must be made by an adult (18 or older) who must remain present for the duration of the event.
Permitted Use: Perfect for social gatherings, clubs and community groups.
🚫 Restricted Use: The room is not available for business or official use. This includes staff meetings, interviews, webinars, workspaces, professional tutoring or counseling sessions.

Mon – Tue: 10 a.m. – 6 .m.
Wed: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Thu – Sat: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Looking for the perfect spot to celebrate a birthday, a promotion or just a fun day out with friends? You can rent out Fairchild Pool or Hagerstrom Pool for private parties outside of regular operating hours!

📋 Rental Details & Policies
📍 Locations: Fairchild Pool and Hagerstrom Pool.
⏰ Availability: Private rentals are hosted exclusively outside of standard public pool hours.
🚨 Booking Rule: Reservations must be made at least 10 days prior to your desired event date.

🛑 Important Note
Plan Ahead: Because lifeguards and staff need to be scheduled, last-minute requests cannot be accommodated. Make sure to lock in your date at least 10 days in advance!
