Doing some home redecorating? Shopping at IKEA? We were recently in exactly the same boat so decided to draw a bunch of popular IKEA brand furniture items to-scale so we could accurately find out what furniture and layout worked best for our Tokyo apartment.

Afterwards, we decided to package them up and make them free to download. Enjoy!

Brand design for a Tokyo photo studio service.

This up and coming Harajuku photography studio aspires to offer a budget-conscious professional-quality photography and social media integration solution for indie fashion brands & models which largely rely on back alley phone photography and social media.

Targeting young, fashion-savvy Japanese consumers, it was important to combine the aspirational ideals of traditional western fashion brands, with a modern, digital-savvy aesthetic. This was represented in the font choices with the coupling of a stylish serif and modern sans serif.

The iconography is clean and simple with the "F" crowned by a simple "gleam" or "sparkle", invoking feelings of glamour, celebrity, and the red carpet lifestyle.

The final lock-up includes a traditional word-mark, and a supporting monogram for scaled-down display and watermarking.

As with all logos, flexible application is essential. Easy monotone conversion, scalability, and memorability are prioritised before hitting the green light.
