Today's Service That Sells webinar by Elizabeth Mutahi was a timely reminder that customer service is not just about solving problems, it's about creating experiences that keep customers coming back.

One of my biggest takeaways was the HEART Model, which emphasizes Hearing, Empathizing, Apologizing, Resolving, and Thanking customers. It reminded us that every customer interaction is an opportunity to build trust and strengthen relationships.

We also appreciated the LEARN Model: Listen, Empathize, Apologize, Resolve, Notify, and Follow Up. This framework reinforces the importance of actively listening, communicating clearly, resolving concerns effectively, and following up to ensure the customer feels valued long after your interactions.

She also emphasised that:
✅customer retention is far more valuable than customer acquisition.
✅ Great service becomes the best form of word-of-mouth marketing, builds a brand people talk about, and creates loyal customers who return and refer others.

We are proud to have supported 12 entrepreneurs 11 of them women to successfully complete Cohort 6 of the Women in Digital Business (WIDB) Programme by ITCILO with one of the participants being our very own advisor Gachoka Kang'ata - GK .
Thanks to Skyrokers Training Institute under the leadership of Elizabeth Ngumbi for taking the lead in guiding this cohort through the program all the way to graduation.

This is usually more than a training programme it always transformative journey of learning, growth, resilience, and leadership. Seeing our entrepreneurs graduate with renewed confidence and clarity on how to grow their businesses, is why remain committed to empowering entrepreneurs.
