But I know burnout is real, you may have a great product or service but when you look at what is needed to get your product or service in the hands of your valued clients, it feels like it is costing you too much, your energy, family, time yourself...

I love the classics, the rustic, throw backs Thursday...most probably because it ushers in the weekend😎.

But I love all this things because they help me remember how far I have come, how things change and evolve, what role I play in the greater scheme of things.

The Apostle Paul spoke with great clarity on the importance of keeping occupied...engaged!

I love the word engaged! not only because it often ushers in thoughts of a wedding feast, and cake. I love cake 🎂. But, because it reminds us the importance of keeping active, busy and occupied.

Paul puts it so simply in 2 Thessalonians 3: 10-12 (NIV):

" 10 For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: "The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.""

(Feels like a tough lesson, but when he goes on to explain we get clarity on what he is saying).

"11 We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy, they are busybodies. 12 Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the food they eat."

There is great joy in earning an honest income, in hard work and achieving a small or great goal.

Truly grateful to God for the blessing of the weekend... got some much needed rest.
