Applying for a research grant soon? Here's what separates the proposals that get funded from the ones that don't:

✅ Lead with the problem — make it clear why it matters, in plain language
✅ Match your proposal to what the funder actually cares about
✅ Set specific, measurable objectives (not vague ones!)
✅ Explain your method AND what could go wrong
✅ Build a budget every line item is justified — no round-number guessing
✅ Show what happens with your results after the study ends
✅ Get a second (and third) pair of eyes before you submit
✅ Follow the funder's formatting rules exactly — this alone disqualifies a lot of applicants
