Kenya Literature Bureau (KLB) and Meru University of Science & Technology (MUST) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide printing, publishing and related services.
Speaking during the signing ceremony, Managing Director, George Okeyo said the partnership brings together the strengths of both institutions in creating, preserving and sharing knowledge. He noted that the MoU will enhance access to quality learning materials, practical training and research outputs that support national development.
Mr. Okeyo added that the Government-to-Government arrangement will streamline procurement processes, reduce production costs and enhance accountability, ultimately delivering better value and faster service for academic programmes.
MUST Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Romanus Odhiambo, commended KLB for its contribution to education in Kenya and expressed confidence that the partnership will eliminate bureaucratic hurdles and improve service delivery. He urged both teams to expedite implementation of the MoU to enable the University to fully benefit from the agreement.
