2. Eat a palmfull of veggies/fruits with every meal
3. Walk for at least 30min each day
4. Walk in nature without music, just you and mother nature getting intimate
5. Go to bed 30min earlier than your usual bedtime. This will get you energised the next day.

What is the spirit of play you ask? The bonding that is felt by those competing in an activity. Despite wanting to win for themselves, their country, community or team, there is acknowledgement that these other competitors from the opposing teams have worked just as hard, sweated the long hours, made as many personnal sacrifices and generally have earned their way into the field of battle...

Growing up, we went through lots of challenges. Some of them were our fault, others though, were completely out of control. They were things that we could only tell our parents or elder brother to help us out. Sometimes these things were just too huge for even them to do anything about. That's when we sat and looked up... No, Not at the sky, but to our hero. The superman walking the same earth as us. Then ask the question "what would he do if he were in my position?" Maybe fly away, maybe use super strength on them or even outrun them with our incredible speed....
Just maybe
Rocky balboa always stood out to me. No superhuman power, no laser vision, no ability to fly, heck he wasn't even all that smart. He was just human, a flawed human. Yet, when he stood in the ring and his opponents hurled their sledge hammer fists at him, he would dodge and glide and retaliate. He would fight back. It didn't matter how many times he was hit, he still got back to his feet and kept moving forward!! That gave me the strength to keep fighting, to keep growing and to keep moving forward.

Many people worldwide have always wondered what makes kenyan Athletes so special. Why are Kenyan athletes among the top of the table internationally? Some said its the milk they drink, others said its innate talent. After long Speculation, experts finally found an answer... It was where they trained. The secret was in the heart of the RiftValley which had the best conditions for training long distance runners, therefore giving them an edge over the rest...ITEN

This story goes this way...

Many years ago, an Irish Patrician Brother, Colm O'Connel, who was the principal of the local St. Patricks High School, noticed that many of his students had a talent for running. At first he thought it was just genetics, but the coincidence was too much and kept repeating. Acting on instinct, he organized running camps for his students to see how they performed. Initially, his intention was to improve his students' athleticism. This proved very successful and the student athletes' performance improved. Therefore, he decided to arrange running camps, both for his own student-runners and for talented runners from the rest of the country. It seemed to work. The athletes at iten produced better results when they returned to compete in their various races.Later, following the success, the school decided to plant a tree for everyone of it's students that had success at an international level. Winthin a few years the school compound was full of trees. No other highschool in the world has raised and educated so many international top athletes.

Iten (Kenya) is a small town in the highlands of Kenya. It's situated in the Rift Valley province, at approximately 35km (22 miles) from the city of Eldoret.
