Charles Darwin said, “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, or the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.” There is nothing more constant than change. It happens every day all the time. Many of us fear change probably because we are comfortable with the way we do things. So when something takes us out of our comfort zone such as when we lose our job, when there is a change of environment or even changes in the people around us, we tend to resist or fight it.
Whether we like it or not, nothing is permanent, whether good or bad. And what better way to get through this than enjoying the good things or times while they last; knowing that the bad times or experience will come to an end. That it is simply the process of change. Going through change is a struggle in itself but it is a bigger struggle when we don’t embrace it or when we resist it.
