💖Today, my heart is experiencing every emotion.

Happy, nostalgic, thrilled, worried, blessed.

In the blink of an eye, this little baby boy of mine has turned into an exceptional young man. He's funny, sweet, caring, driven, and brings so much joy to our lives.

From the moment this boy entered my life, my days have been a constant juggling act between work demands and parenting responsibilities.

💖It's not always easy, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

There are certainly times where I know I spend too much time behind my computer, and not enough time playing video games and hanging out.

💖Quality over quantity is the mantra I live by.

I'm proud to show my children that they can achieve anything they set their minds to, whether it's in their personal or professional lives.

Balancing work and motherhood is a constant discovery of time management, prioritization, and the importance of self-care.

💖To all the other working moms out there, know that you are not alone. We are all in this together and doing the best we can. Keep pushing forward and remember that your hard work and dedication are setting a powerful example for your children.

This is someone who has been battling mental health obstacles longer than I can remember but, more heavily these past 2 weeks.

This is a Latina woman who despite culture norms that mental health is not “real” and you don’t talk about it outside your four walls, I’m saying f**k it, and I’m putting it out there.

Even in the sunniest of days the dark clouds can come out of nowhere, but I believe the sun and the dark clouds can coexist.

Yes, I am scared these clouds are causing all sorts of damage to me, my family and my business and I don’t know how long it will last.

Everyday I try to look for the sun and stay hopeful that today will be a good day.

Comadre, I hope you give yourself some grace and put yourself first.

I believe, that the more comfortable we are discussing mental health, the more we can help each other.

I used to lie about being a mom.

You know when you're in an interview and they "can't ask" if you have kids, or your age, etc but they can ask leading questions.

That was my fear when I went into a job interview.

"Will they NOT hire me because I am a mom?"

So I would lie, and say "No, I don't have any responsibilities that will affect my job performance."

Every part of me hurt when I said that, then to come home to the sweetest face and know I actively choose not to talk about him broke me.

So I said f**k it if they don't want me as a mom they don't get me at all.

It took a VERY long time to get a job, even longer to get a raise.

I had enough.

I started entrepreneurship AGAINST every fiber of my being.

It is not easy, but it sure is worth it.

I was tired of being looked at as "less than" in the corporate world because I am a mom.

💪🏽 I am a mom and therefore I am UNSTOPPABLE.

14 years ago when this little guy entered my life, I knew I would never be the same and that I would forever do everything in my power to be there for him.

So I hustled and prayed and cried and kept hustling.

So today I celebrate the boy who changed my life in the best possible way.

He made me the best me I didn't know existed.

Happy Birthday to my sweet Fox.

I will always be proud to be his mom.

The real trick is turning off my brain to not relive every last post, comment, or interaction I've had over the past week!
