The customer is king!

How you treat your clients/ customers matters, and never take it for granted.

As a social media manager, behind the scenes, we have to practice good customer service, whether in the comments or DM’s, in the midst of it all.

It has the potential to affect the purchasing power of a potential client.

The moment you see that comment/ DM inquiring about your products/ services, they are potential customers.

They may not buy today, (Don’t treat them any differently), but they can buy tomorrow.

A good social media marketing customer service has the potential to:
 
1. Changing the mind of a passing client to a repeat client.
2. Referrals from Satisfied clients.
3. Genuine feedback and reviews.

The next time you are about to reply to that comment or DM, try doing it a different way, i.e. if you are doing it wrongly.

Here is a sample of how I would handle a client who made an online inquiry on a shoe and how I would handle it.

Focus on being productive and not busy!

If you are not careful, you can find yourself being busy yet not making progress on the work.

That's why you should be deliberate about inculcating a culture of productivity.

Here are some of the tips that help me be productive:-

>Setting clear goals.
>Creating a to-do list.
>Prioritizing tasks (in order of urgency)
>Having a routine.

When you come across, “The better option” your mind quickly thinks of Safaricom, with green and crisp red as their brand-identifying colors.

Some brands have perfected the art of a consistent brand tone and messaging,

They have perfected the act of clearly differentiating their brand from others.

When you get to skim through their posts/articles messages and tone, you can quickly identify them.

All this narrows down to brand identity.

The visible elements help identify and differentiate your brand in the minds of consumers/ customers.
