Good customer service is when you care even when they don’t buy. Most people only treat customers well when money is involved.

Once someone says, “I’ll think about it,” suddenly your tone changes from “Karibu sana” to “Okay, bye.”

But that’s not customer service.

Good customer service isn’t about the transaction.
It’s about the interaction.

It’s how you make people feel—even if they never buy from you.

Sometimes the person who didn’t buy today will come back in six months —
and pay double.

Other times, they’ll refer a friend because they remember how respectfully you treated them.

I’ve learned this in business:
The clients you treat well when they have no money
are the same ones who’ll trust you when they finally do.

Customer service is not a “sales tactic.”
It’s a relationship strategy.
It’s about planting good experiences that grow into loyalty later.

So stop being polite only to paying customers.
Respond kindly to everyone.
Help where you can. Guide when possible.
Because your reputation speaks louder than your price list.

Remember—people forget what you sold them.
but they’ll never forget how you treated them.
